There’s a process.

Illegal alien migrants ask for asylum. Their requests are false and based on absurd claims, often the rate of gang violence in their own countries, and they’re released and given a court date. They generally never show up to court and join the tens of millions of illegals already in this country waiting for Democrats to impose an illegal alien amnesty to further swell the voting rolls with welfare cases and bloc Democrat voters.

But the court date was the pretense that dumping illegal aliens had the semblance of a process behind it. Now there isn’t even a process.

Fox News confirmed Sunday that Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector (RGV) have begun to process and release illegal border crossers who claim asylum without issuing a Notice to Appear (NTA) – allowing them to depart custody without scheduling a court date for a hearing. 

Multiple Border Patrol agents confirmed the new process to Fox News, revealing that they have been directed to use prosecutorial discretion (PD) to forgo the hours-long process of paperwork required to issue an NTA amid the surge of migrants at the border.

Prosecutorial discretion is exactly how the Obama administration justified its refusal to enforce immigration law and impose its own amnesty.

Now prosecutorial discretion is being taken to the next level of absurdity by not even bothering to do an NTA which means literally open borders.

There’s no pretense that there’s a legal process here. Despite Biden’s lies and the media’s spin, it’s just a direct pass-through with no fig leaf. And in a way that’s refreshing. Now that the Democrats are no longer pretending there’s a process, there’s no reason to continue the asylum fiction.

This is just an open borders pipeline for bringing as many illegals into America as the traffic will bear.

The next Republican administration needs to use prosecutorial discretion in an inverse way with a total crackdown and no further pretense that there’s a legitimate legal process here.
