There is absolutely not a trace of anti-Semitism anywhere in the Party of Anti-Semitism. Not a whiff or a jot. If you think otherwise, it’s because the Jews hypnotized you into not realizing the wonderful of Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitism.
So here’s Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after meeting with Jeremy Corbyn, one of the most notoriously anti-Semitic political figures in the UK, chatting with Christiane Amanpour, who fairly blatantly validated Omar’s anti-Semitism, being asked about the problem.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the President is “bankrupt of any ideas” whenever he accuses the Democratic Party of pushing an anti-Semitic agenda and flatly denied the party was growing more hostile to Jews.
“We have no taint of that in the Democratic Party, and just because they want to accuse somebody of that doesn’t mean … that we take that bait,” Pelosi said Tuesday in a wide-ranging interview with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour in Dublin, Ireland.
Pelosi views dealing with anti-Semitism as “taking the bait”. That’s the problem in a nutshell. And not just with Pelosi.
The Omar issue is seen entirely through the lens of game theory. Any criticism of Rep. Omar has to be suppressed or the GOP wins.
Meanwhile Pelosi had just gotten back from meeting with an anti-Semite.
Pelosi said she brought up the issue herself during her trip to the United Kingdom this week, where the Labour Party faces controversy over its handling of anti-Semitism allegations.
“When we met the leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, we said we have concerns about how the Labour Party is perceived in terms of anti-Semitism,” Pelosi said.
When asked for comment on Pelosi’s remarks to CNN, a Labour Party spokesperson directed CNN to a tweet from Corbyn sent on Sunday following the meeting, but did not reference anti-Semitism.
“Open and wide ranging meeting with US House of Representatives @SpeakerPelosi today. We discussed the need to protect the Good Friday Agreement, take action on inequality and the climate crisis, confront racism and promote peace,” Corbyn tweeted.
If she had wanted to bring it up, she could have done so in public. This looks like yet another face-saving gesture for Jewish Dems.
Pelosi met with Corbyn and then with anti-Corbyn MKs. She tweeted twice that anti-Semitism is bad, but failed to clearly condemn Corbyn’s anti-Semitism in another case of trying to have it both ways.
Meanwhile Amanpour had previously validated Rep. Omar’s attacks.
Furthermore, Amanpour prefaced the question this way: “Can I just move on to something that’s generally a rite of passage for politicians in the United States, and that is to sort of pledge fealty or at least pay homage to AIPAC, the pro-Israel PAC that is very, very prominent.”
Omar smiles and smirks in reaction to this inflammatory assertion that American lawmakers are de facto required to bend the knee to the Israeli lobby. That reaction reflects poorly upon Omar. And the smear reflects poorly upon Amanpour as a journalist. One wonders whether Amanpour would have dared to behave that way on CNN’s domestic channel, or whether she was pandering to the more prevalent and casual anti-Semitism found outside America.
Not a taint to be found.
