There have been plenty of rapes in Philly. Especially with a crime wave under Soros DA Larry Krasner whose pro-crime approach has wrecked what remained of public safety in the broken city. But the media zeroed in on the SEPTA train rape because it took place on a train car with plenty of “people” watching and some of them even recording the attack on their phones.

Now the media will start slowly backing away from the case once it turned out that the rapist is an illegal alien with a long rap sheet who was protected from being deported back to his homeland because Democrats prioritize illegal alien criminals over American victims.

Meanwhile, a new report revealed that Ngoy, who gave his address as Philadelphia-based homeless shelter the Broad Street Ministry, is a Congolese national present in the US illegally. 

He entered the US on a student visa in 2012, but remained after the visa was terminated in 2015 and was protected from deportation by the immigration system despite multiple convictions as recent as this May.  

Court records show that Ngoy had multiple arrests dating back to 2015 and two misdemeanor convictions, one for controlled substances and one for sexual abuse.

He pleaded guilty to the sex charge in 2017 in Washington DC and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, and was then placed in immigration detention in January 2018.

However, Ngoy was never deported, because an immigration judge granted him a ‘withholding of removal’ in March 2019, after an appeals board found that his sex crime was not a ‘serious crime’ that made him eligible for removal.

Is it serious now? Don’t count on it. Ngoy could nuke D.C. and it still wouldn’t be serious enough.

But Mayor Bowser wanted D.C. to be a sanctuary city for illegal alien criminals. And so it is.

Today, Mayor Bowser issued the following statement reaffirming the District’s status as a sanctuary city:

“The values, laws, and policies of Washington, DC did not change on Election Day. We celebrate our diversity and respect all DC residents no matter their immigration status. We are a sanctuary city because we know that our neighborhoods are safer and stronger when no one is afraid to call on our government for help, and when our police can focus on protecting and serving.”

And illegal alien rapists know they can count on Mayor Bowser and the rest of the Democrat pro-crime and pro-illegal alien establishment to keep them safe.

Women, not so much.

The media keeps focusing on why the train riders did nothing. But why did the media and Democrats do nothing about Ngoy? Why did they protect him until he committed a crime so horrifying that they became willing to condemn it?
