A federal appeals court ruled Friday that Tennessee can begin outlawing abortions because of a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome, as well as prohibit the procedure if it’s based on the race or gender of the fetus.

The law was immediately blocked by a lower federal court just hours after Lee signed it into law.

Planned Parenthood responded to a bill banning aborting babies because of their race with a crazed rant about… systemic racism.

“As Tennessee and the rest of the country grapple with the dueling public health crises of systemic racism and COVID-19, relitigating the constitutional right to abortion is the last thing politicians should be wasting valuable time and resources on, said Alexis McGill, president and CEO Planned Parenthood Federation of America. “Let’s be clear, abortion bans are part of a larger, racist public health infrastructure that systematically forces people of color to navigate more barriers just to get the health care they need.”

Now that the appeals court has ruled, the baby parts version of eBay is vowing to fight on for the right to kill babies because of their race, sex, or down syndrome.
