One more thing to remember about Mao. He believed that the “Revolution” must never end. The continuous eternal revolution requires moving the goal posts on a regular basis. This means one can never be sure of how to comply with he ever changing rules. This is why Mao moved from the “Great Leap Forward” to the “Cultural Revolution” and after his death to the “One-Child Policy”. This is also why the leftist mandated language keeps changing; this is why they move from abortion to child sexual mutilation to pedophilia. This brings up another feature of communism in general. It doesn’t just run by hate.
It rules by terror. Lenin called it the Red Terror, and no revolution could exist without it.
