After nearly four years of failure as the leader of the free world, Joe Biden even failed to arrive on time at the United Nations General Assembly to deliver his final address as U.S. president to the world body on September 24th. When President Biden did deliver his remarks to all the presidents, prime ministers, foreign ministers, and other high-level representatives of nations from all over the world, he distanced himself from any responsibility for the chaos around the globe that has erupted on his watch.
President Biden began his speech recalling his own long career in public service, which he said has taught him that “every age faces its challenges” but has managed to overcome them. Reflecting on today’s multiple global challenges, President Biden said “Things can get better. We should never forget that. I’ve seen that throughout my career.”
Using Vice President Kamala Harris’s favorite campaign phrase, President Biden said that “I know there is a way forward.” (Emphasis added)
Unfortunately, Joe Biden has taken America and the world backwards. Indeed, things have become far worse in the world since President Biden took office. Biden’s foreign policy disasters have ranged from his reckless retreat from Afghanistan that encouraged Russia to invade Ukraine to appeasing Iran and replenishing its coffers with many billions of dollars that the regime has used to fund its terrorist proxies. North Korea and China are saber-rattling without any significant consequences.
Things will only get better with a president who projects strength on the world stage and is not afraid to confront America’s adversaries rather than coddle them. Peace through strength works.
Notwithstanding the reality of a world in chaos since Joe Biden became president, Mr. Biden spun the fantasy in his speech to the General Assembly that his foreign policies have been successful. His spin started with Afghanistan.
“When I came to office as president, Afghanistan had replaced Vietnam as America’s longest war,” President Biden told the world leaders gathered in the General Assembly Hall. “I was determined to end it, and I did. It was a hard decision but the right decision.”
Ending America’s active combat in Afghanistan was not the problem. How President Biden as Commander-in-Chief directed the U.S. military to withdraw from the beleaguered country was the problem. Against the advice of his military and security advisers, President Biden decided to withdraw U.S. military troops before withdrawing the American civilians and allied Afghans wanting to leave. He abandoned Bagram Airfield, which the Taliban took over. He also left behind billions of dollars of sophisticated military equipment that the Taliban is either using or has sold to other bad actors.
President Biden admitted that his decision was “accompanied by tragedy.” He said, “Thirteen brave Americans lost their lives along with hundreds of Afghans in a suicide bomb. I think those lost lives — I think of them every day.” Those thirteen service members lost their lives needlessly because of President Biden’s Afghanistan debacle. He still has not taken any personal responsibility for their loss. And he has not seen fit to reach out himself to all the Gold Star families to honor the memory of the fallen service members they are mourning.
President Biden was not finished spinning his foreign policy record to the General Assembly. He tried to portray himself as a peacemaker in the Middle East. Former President Donald Trump was the real peacemaker, as evidenced by the historic Abraham Accords. On Joe Biden’s watch, the entire Middle East region has gone up in flames.
During his speech, President Biden discussed Hamas’s horrific terrorist attack on October 7th and the aftermath in Gaza during the war between Israel and Hamas that Hamas started. “I put forward with Qatar and Egypt a ceasefire and hostage deal,” Mr. Biden said, which he added has been “endorsed by the U.N. Security Council.” He urged “the parties to finalize its terms,” and called for bringing the hostages home, securing Israel, freeing Gaza of “Hamas’ grip,” easing the suffering in Gaza, and ending the war.
However, Hamas is still very much present in Gaza, and it will certainly not give up its arms under the current circumstances nor under the ceasefire terms that President Biden has proposed. Hamas’ leadership and fighting capability must be completely destroyed before there can be a workable permanent ceasefire.
“Progress toward peace will put us in a stronger position to deal with the ongoing threat posed by Iran,” President Biden remarked. He has it entirely backwards. There cannot be any progress towards achieving a viable peace in the Middle East until the Iranian regime is starved of funds to finance Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and its other terrorist proxies. Former President Trump’s policy of maximum economic pressure was successful in bankrupting the regime. But in his zeal to bring the Obama-Biden nuclear deal with Iran back to life, President Biden turned the money spigot back on to placate the regime. Its terrorist proxies are back in full force as a result.
President Biden boasted during his General Assembly speech about his accomplishments in combating climate change. “We’ve taken the most ambitious climate actions in history,” he said. In reality, President Biden’s “ambitious climate actions” have resulted in energy-related and overall economic disasters. His actions have included crippling regulations on the fossil fuel industry, restrictions on drilling for oil and gas on federal lands, and runaway spending on the Green New Deal that fuels inflation. Meanwhile, China is gaming the Paris Climate Agreement, which President Biden foolishly decided to rejoin.
Towards the end of his General Assembly speech, President Biden indulged in another fantasy. He tried to characterize his decision not to seek reelection as an act of self-sacrifice, which he supposedly performed for the sake of the country.
President Biden declared: “As much as I love the job, I love my country more. I decided, after 50 years of public service, it’s time for a new generation of leadership to take my nation forward. My fellow leaders, let us never forget some things are more important than staying in power. Never forget, we are here to serve the people, not the other way around.”
The truth is that President Biden wanted desperately to remain in power. He persistently resisted calls to end his campaign for reelection from his fellow Democrats, donors, the mainstream media, and Hollywood who feared that he would lose to Donald Trump. But in the end, the Democrat establishment led by Nancy Pelosi exerted enough pressure on Biden for him to pull out of the race and they anointed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place. Ironically, the president who told the General Assembly that “I’ve made the preservation of democracy the central cause of my presidency” was done in by an undemocratic palace coup. He had won millions of votes in the Democrat primaries only to be replaced in the presidential campaign by a candidate who did not win a single vote either in her own quest for the presidency in 2020 or in this year’s primaries.
Notwithstanding what President Biden said in his farewell General Assembly speech, he is leaving America and the world in a far more chaotic, dangerous state than he found it when he took office on January 20, 2021. Before Mr. Biden leaves office, he should muster the courage to take personal responsibility for the messes he is leaving to the next president. But of course, he won’t.

Unfortunately, Biden is only part of the ugly face of treason in our country. No matter who gets in or how much formidable strength they present, the other ugly faces of treason will remain very much entrenched in Congress. Until Pelosi, Schumer, Murderarkas and a the other ugly faces of treason are fully investigated and arrested expect much more of the same. In fact, they’re going to double down with the violence and Congress will do NOTHING about it!

Biden is full of more sh*t than a slaughter house. I’m surprised that he hasn’t yet claimed he was once a NASA astronaut scheduled to go to moon but the Apollo mission got scrubbed at the last moment.
Buckaroo Biden has seen it all and done it all. He’s a real life Walter Mitty.

He picked Harris as VP so he would have someone around that made him look smart. It didn’t work. Now dummy #2 picks a commie loving, Denny Hastert wannabe to make her look confident and poised. That isn’t working, either. None of that matters, though, to the quisling Dem voters who are dumber than all of the above. The administrative state, those actually running the show, have cultivated the only tactic the leftist loons need: she ain’t Trump.
