What’s that smell? It’s not Chanel. It’s desperation.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, who pals around with anti-Semitic leaders like the UK’s Jeremy Corbyn and Rep. Ilhan Omar, decided to accuse President Trump of anti-Semitism based on a claim from The Intercept, a site notorious for its support of anti-Semitic terrorists.
“Understand that Trump is engaged in deliberate, atrocious, targeted antisemitism towards Chairman Schiff. Then ask yourself why no one cares to denounce it – esp when his accusation of it towards others drove full news cycles earlier this year,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez tweeted.
What is the socialist muppet from Westchester talking about?
Cortez was quoting The Intercept’s Mehdi Hasan. The Intercept’s co-founder, Glenn Greenwald, had defended anti-Semitic terrorists, and Hasan, who worked for Qatar’s Al Jazeera, a pro-terrorist network, has been accused of spreading lies and defending Hamas.
Even for AOC, this is impressively backward and terrible.
What’s the ridiculous accusation that Cortez is trying to pass on?
The author, Mehdi Hasan, specifically cited a Trump tweet from the end of September that said, “Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff, AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama what the Do Nothings are doing to me. Oh well, maybe next time!”
Trump criticized Rep. Cortez, Rep. Omar, Rep. Tlaib and Rep. Pressley, none of whom are Jewish, two of whom are overt and in-your-face anti-Semites, along with two politicians with Jewish last names, and Cortez and a former Al Jazeera guy try to turn that into anti-Semitism.
No that’s not Chanel. That is desperation.
