After President Trump proposed resettling the Arab Muslim settlers currently living in Gaza, there was an outbreak of furious objections from politicians, activists and media outlets.
The objections could be roughly divided into the moral and the practical. The ‘moral’ objection was that it was ‘wrong’ to resettle the population currently occupying Gaza, and the ‘practical’ objection was that it would be impossible to accomplish. Both objections do not hold up.
The Jewish population of Gaza was resettled twice, once after the Egyptian invasion and the conquest of Gaza during the War of Independence, and the second time after the 2005 ‘disengagement’ forcibly eliminated 21 Jewish communities and expelled families living there.
Not only did politicians and the media not object to the forcible removal of the Jewish communities of Gaza, but they celebrated it as a step forward for peace in the region.
Many, if not most ‘peace plans’, propose the further resettlement of hundreds of thousands of Jews living in Judea and Samaria to make way for a ‘Palestinian’ state. Even as they object to resettling Gazan Muslims in Arab countries, they refer to Jews living in the ‘West Bank’ as settlers, to their communities as ‘settlements’ and propose that they be resettled elsewhere.
UN Resolution 242 has been interpreted by many politicians and the media to mean that Israel must withdraw from territory, including parts of Jerusalem, where 450,000 Jews live. The same people who insist that it’s morally wrong and impractical to resettle 2 million Muslims out of Gaza also argue that it’s morally right and practical to resettle nearly half a million Jews in Israel.
Opponents of Trump’s proposal don’t believe it’s wrong to resettle a population, they would just rather expel and resettle Jews than expel and resettle the Arab Muslim colonial population.
They don’t oppose resettlement, they support terrorism.
With the moral question out of the way, what about the practical one: is it even possible?
Some say that the Gaza Arab Muslim population could not be moved without ‘door-to-door fighting’. But Israel’s recent experience in the war after Oct 7 shows that’s clearly not true.
Despite the false claims of genocide, the Israelis kept civilian casualties to a minimum by evacuating as much as the ‘civilian’ population as possible from one part of Gaza to another.
Despite being told it was impossible, Israelis evacuated hundreds of thousands of Gazans to make way for military operations. During the beginning of the war, around 1 million Gazans left the north for the south and the UN would later claim that as many as 1.5 million Muslim settlers in Gaza had been displaced. Most of those in Gaza followed orders and got out of the way.
Looking to examples beyond Israel, the Black September war between Jordan and the PLO resulted in the deaths of some 4,000 terrorists, as many as 25,000 civilians, according to Yasser Arafat, and some 20,000 ‘Palestinians’ were resettled in ‘refugee camps’ in Lebanon
After the Gulf War, Kuwait punished the ‘Palestinians’ who had collaborated with Saddam Hussein, by expelling some 280,000 of them in a mass purge that was later joined by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf allies for a total estimated by ‘Palestinian’ advocates at 400,000.
Kuwait shelled ‘Palestinian’ neighborhoods and sent in death squads to massacre them. Tanks and troops were deployed, checkpoints were set up and most of the ‘Palestinians’ were driven from their country and their neighborhoods were eliminated. Parts of Hawally, where the ‘Palestinians’ used to live, were bulldozed and turned into an amusement park.
This was done with the support of the first Bush administration.
“I think we’re expecting a little much if we’re asking the people in Kuwait to take kindly to those that had spied on their countrymen that were left there, that had brutalized families there, and things of that nature,” President George H.W. Bush told reporters at a press conference.
Saudi Arabia deported over 50,000 ‘Palestinians’, Bahrain, the UAE and Qatar, which has since become a state sponsor of Hamas, also began firing, expelling and deporting ‘Palestinians’
None of these events occasioned much protest or commentary, they occurred with the support of western governments who, like President Bush, compared it to the reactions of the French against collaborators after the Nazi occupation, and life soon went on as it had before.
The resettlement of large numbers of ‘Palestinians’ has happened before in the Middle East. While the resettlement of Gaza would take place on a larger scale, it would not be that much larger than the resettlements during the war or in the aftermath of the Gulf War.
Such a resettlement is both practical and morally defensible since there are no other options.
The underlying problem in the conflict is that Israel resettled some 800,000 Jewish refugees from the Muslim world, while the Arab Muslim nations who attacked it failed to do likewise. Along with the UN, they insisted on maintaining them under the fake identity of ‘Palestinians’ as a perpetual army of occupation: forming into terrorist groups for an endless war with Israel.
“You have to learn from history. You can’t keep doing the same mistake over and over again,” President Trump pointed out.
Every possible effort has been made to create a ‘Palestinian’ state for over 30 years. After multiple peace proposals, land concessions, endless rounds of negotiations and taxpayer funding (over $2 billion through USAID to the ‘Palestinians’ since Oct 7 alone) nothing worked.
When Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, leaving behind greenhouses and plans for new industries, along with sizable international funding, Hamas turned it into a war zone.
Two-state solutionists continue to argue that if Israel were to offer even more land, expel and resettle more Jews, the Muslim terrorists would finally agree to a permanent peace.
But there has never been a single shred of evidence that would work. None of the Israeli proposals or concessions undertaken since the late 1980s have led to any kind of peace. The PLO and Hamas used terrorism at every turn to press for more Israeli concessions while giving nothing in return. Their leaders have said again and again that they intend to destroy Israel.
After Oct 7, everyone is finally taking them at their word.
Diplomats insisted that peace could not come without the expulsion and resettlement of Jews from Judea and Samaria. President Trump flipped the table by suggesting that it can’t come without the resettlement of Arab Muslims from Gaza. Which makes more sense?
Debate is still going on about President Trump’s proposal for an American role in Gaza. Many Americans and Israelis see the move as unnecessary. They would prefer to have Israel take care of business alone with the political support of the United States. Just as Bush provided political support for the Kuwaitis to expel the ‘Palestinian’ population from their country.
President Trump is a visionary and his idea reframed the entire view of the conflict, and while it may only be an opening for a negotiating position, like his talk of annexing Canada or Greenland, there is no doubt that it has shaken up all the conventional wisdom in the Middle East. His basic premise, that Gaza is a lovely place that will be a source of conflict as long as it is populated by Islamic terrorists and their supporters, is fundamentally sound.
The objections to it, both moral and practical, are groundless. Resettlement is feasible and moral. If the Kuwaitis and the Jordanians could resettle the ‘Palestinians’ out of their countries on far less grounds than the atrocities of Oct 7, the Israelis certainly have the right to do it.
The politicians, diplomats and reporters who advocated for the mass resettlement of nearly half a million Jews have no moral grounds for opposing the resettlement of Gaza Muslims.
And after trying everything else, including decades of failed efforts to make peace with the terrorists or trying to coexist with them in the absence of peace, it’s time to do what makes the most sense for everyone, and the only thing that has any hope of bringing peace to the region.
Islam will never be at peace with the west or in particular with we Jews. Its pickled in their religious texts and then their culture. They indoctrinate their children from the earliest age.
The Dome of the Rock and the al-Aksa mosque need to be razed. Had our people known the nature of Islam in 1967 (after nearly 1400 years we still have not internalized the nature of Islam and its followers… shame on us), we would have exposed Islam for what it is, say by reading aloud the Qur’an, and started demolitions. Islamic presence must eventually be removed, everywhere. As long as the Dome of the Rock and the al-Aksa mosque (and others) exist, the “Palestinians” and Muslims in general will think they always have a place in our historic homeland.
The solution for the moment is not a war of aggression against Islam but rather the education of our people and of western civilization regarding the nature of Islam and its followers. From that all answers will become apparent.

What Is AMALEK? Rebecca Bar Sef ;Nice conclusion at 28:15
Education about Islam is a cornerstone to ending the conflict. Unfortunately as long as there are Leftist run nations, true learning about Islam is impossible. To even speak the truth in Canada or Great Britain is grounds for imprisonment. The more you listen to the Left about Islam, the less you know. Front Page needs a much much bigger audience.
i wish that everyone that refers to the occupants of gaza as palestinians would stop using the term . . there is no such people and the word palestine was invented by the romans when they expelled the jews from their homeland which was the diaspora . leave the gaza as it now is , do not rebuild it . if its to be rebuilt let hamas do it with all the money they usually waste on tunnels and armoury . lets see how long they believe they have a victory when it is still rubble in 12 months time . the lowlife of gaza are not about to change irrespective of any 2 state fiction and diplomacy . the world is delusional as are the left in israel , the west and the u.s. muslims do not want a 2 state , they want only one state and it doesnt include jews . the fakestinians are a feckless , murdering lowlife as demonstrated on oct. 7 . they love death . oblige them whenever the opportunity arises .
I agree, do not give back a rebuilt – at the West’s cost – to these and future genocidal terrorists.
Also releasing thousands terrorists out of Israel’s jails will only mean yet more Jews being murdered in the future. Has Israel learned nothing from past prisoner exchanges?
However, I guess the West is no different in its constant appeasement of Islam after every vehicle attack, knife attack, and bomb attack with its “don’t look back in anger” and the draconian suppression of anger or dissenting voices over these Islamic atrocities.
Hw about rebuilding Gaza with zero Arab “gazans” allowed to stay.
Dump ’em in Egypt, Syria, Jordan, or the ocean.
As for this idiocy about allowing some here on a “case by case” basis, I’d only agree to that bullshlt if they’re all dumped in Martha’s Vineyard.
Why? What difference does it make what you call them? Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims, Jordanians? They are still people who’ve lived in that area for centuries. These people have brought a religion, culture, and way of life to that area. You think by downplaying the word Palestinians that somehow it downplays their right ot be there?
They haven’t lived there for centuries. Most of them are descendants of early 20th century Arab migrants into the area. As with the descendants of the people who came to the UK on the SS Windrush, they certainly have rights – but none of the people from the Windrush has yet suggested that the UK belongs exclusively to them, that its original occupants were people of colour, and that the Celts, Anglo-Saxons and Normans were settler colonists who displaced said people of colour.
What way of life is that, dumbass? They’ve been kicked out of Jordan and Egypt. Israel let them live there.
Centuries?……really?
You are more profoundly ignorant and stupid than you could possibly realize?
The name is the moniker of a plethora of lies used to discredit the historical truth of the Jewish history in this place of over 3,000 years.
How conveniently you ascribe positive attributes to a non-existent people who have been the source, along with other Arab nations, of a religiously-based vitriol against the Jewish people. Our crime is being the People of G-d who were given the Torah at Mt. Sinai and as a mixed multitude brought out of Egyptian slavery, we agreed to become His people in following the 10 Commandments and the additional requirements (mitzvoth) as G-d designed.
The Arab and Persian religion called Islam wants all Jewish people destroyed. Why? Fundamentally, this religion of Islam is predicated on destroying those who carry the Word of G-d through the Torah and replacing it with what man has created in his own interests and image. A read of the Quran, Islam’s self-touted holy book, evidences it’s hatred, torture, sanctioned pedophilia via child brides and the sexual violation of children, violence against women and a history of their purported leader, Mohammad, who practiced all of this evil himself.
Those Arab practitioners of this hateful religion spend copious amounts of money inculcating their children with this monstrosity against humanity.
Willful ignorance and belief as you have engaged in here, requires education.
May I suggest you go to the Middle East Research Institute website www.memri.org and stay awhile and listen to what you will NEVER HEAR OR UNDERSTAND about those you are supporting anywhere else.
It’s how they destroy the beauty and innocence of their own children.
Is this what you glorify in ignorance? I surely hope not.
“the word palestine was invented by the romans when they expelled the jews”
Rubbish. While granting the genetic fluidity of the region the name Palestine is a form of the name Philistine; this Mediterranean people invaded Egypt and the Phoenician coast over 3000 years ago and survived in the region for more than 500 years. They are credited with introducing at least one Indo-European word into Hebrew, ‘kova’ meaning ‘helmet.’ More significantly, they were the main impulse for the union of the Canaanite city states that eventually become known as Israel.
Palestinians:
But if you make us leave Gaza, how are we supposed to keep killing Jews?
The two-state solution was ok in theory, so the West wanted it, but the Palestinians never did. It has taken decades for the West to see this and now they have to choose: the current state or the other one, from the river to the sea. The anti-Trump West is still pretending otherwise.
God’s two state solution for eternity:
Zionists get Heaven
Islamists get Hell
“The Dome of the Rock and the al-Aksa mosque need to be razed.”
That’s for sure but they’re one and the same, you know.
No, they are NOT one and the same.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is situated in the southern portion of the plateau, and the Dome is on the raised rock that is situated in the middle of the plateau.
Yes, of course the Psuedostinians can be resettled – as far from Israel’s borders as possible. Egypt is the most likely country and in my opinion the only one possible. All the other Islamic countries hate them. And those subhumans have relied on welfare from the Western world in a city they didn’t build since 1948 just to survive, and couldn’t survive in the enormous and mostly empty Sinai Peninsula the way the Berbers and small towns supported by African Egypt do. The Sinai is sparsely settled and couldn’t support 2 million Psuedostinians even if they were divided up between all the tiny towns, many if not most of which are villages. Besides, President Trump would never allow them to be resettled that close to Israel’s southern border and neither would Netanyahu.
It’s only been 20 days since Trump regained the Presidency and his plans for the Psuedostinians are just one of hundreds of accomplishments. The D-Bags can’t keep up with him and are about 99 steps behind.
The Psuedostinians don’t have a chance of opposing him. Their internationally supported tenancy of Azzah is coming to an end, I reckon. The sooner the better so Israel can next resettle the Psuedostinian squatters in Judea and Samaria.
“ Opponents of Trump’s proposal don’t believe it’s wrong to resettle a population, they would just rather expel and resettle Jews than expel and resettle the Arab Muslim colonial population.”
Wisdom Daniel, profound wisdom and also basic rational thinking but I’ve struggled to find arguments and now I’m prepared. Thank you.
If other Arab nations refuse to resettle these trouble making Arabs, then look into Puntland, Somaliland and the South Sandwich Islands. The latter would be very nice for them. A place to set up a society that they prefer and no natives to conquer.
Not sure I’d recommend an island home – it would be the Barbary pirates all over again, with a little help from their friends the Houthis. Mind you, if the UK gave the South Sandwich Islands back to Argentina on the understanding that the Gazans would be settled there, I reckon that if anyone could control them, Xavier Millei could.
I think you should take a look at the Sandwich and Georgia Islands on Google maps with the terrain setting, my friend. It’s a bit closer to Antarctica than Argentina. The Paleos would become frozen snowmen if they were dumped off there.
It would be funny watching them freeze to death as they tried to catch penguins, though.
I vote the South Sandwich Islands and Georgia Island. Those subhumans would freeze to death the first day and take themselves out of the world’s misery.
What I seem to remember, from my history, is that Judea and Samaria are the birthplace of Judaism and that Jews also live there. So can we please stop with the B.S. leftist “settler” narrative of the brain dead.
The left tries to pull the settler crap about our country too.
You guys lost in November. Get over yourselves.
“Bush agreed to the expelling of Palestinians from Kuwait”
Where did they go?
Being humanistic, Trump’s ‘owning Gaza plan’, like his ‘plan of the century’ proposed during his first term, is not God’s plan.
It doesn’t jive with the Divine directive of the nation of Israel’s Torah. Israel knows this.
But for now, the one good thing about the plan is it’s an option for Israel that requires totally depopulating Gaza first.
It avoids the fact that Gaza wasn’t Sharon’s to give away (with Bush’s “guarantees”). It’s not for Israel to ‘sell’ to Trump. From whom does Trump think he will be buying Gaza? God?
No one ‘owns’ Gaza. God owns the land and gives Israel an exclusive eternal lease, which includes 613 conditions and assurances in the contract.
Trump, while talking relocation, ironically prevents depopulation because of the increasingly horrible immoral deal forced on Israel.
I wish a journalist would ask President Trump how he reconciles the current ceasefire hostage for terrorists and IDF removal deal with his plan for Gaza; and also why he says ‘there’s no rush’ to get Gazans out, and to keep tortured, starved hostages in. What happened to the idea of Hamas unconditionally surrendering and releasing all hostages alive and dead?
And the ‘Big Satan Little Satan’ argument is a flop.
Evil is having its day – 494 of them, and counting, since 10/7/23.
But Trump is trying. He is really trying. God spoke to him that day in Butler, Pa. Fight. Fight. Fight!
I hope that, with Trump’s second go around, his definition of making America great again includes making America righteous.
During World War II, individual righteous gentiles saved individual Jews and families. There were no righteous nations.
And today, as then, there are only ‘western’ nations. Unlike ‘western’ nations, Israel is commanded by God to be a ‘holy nation’. May it be God‘s will that President Trump will make America a ‘righteous nation’. That should be the wonderful, exemplary, unique and blessed connection between the two countries: Holiness and Righteousness.
Trump isn’t doing anything to make USA a righteous nation. He is friendly with abortion. Israel isn’t doing a good job of being a holy nation with its tolerance of abominable gay pride parades on holy lands. Israel continues its thousands year streak of defying God by ignoring Jesus Christ.
You are right. We can remind our nations of what God calls them to be and we can pray that we and they do right.
At my Jewish Community Center (JCC) in liberal Toronto on the day that Trump announced his plans to take over Gaza, an oder Jewish man who I don’t know commented that Trump reminds him of a famous German who wanted to take over the world in the 1930’s! This response is so typical of the Lefty Jews in the West who don’t know where their bread is buttered. Naive, short sighted, brain washed or just plain dumb, they numbly go along with whatever CNN or MSNBC tells them. Trump is the most philo-semitic, pro-Israel president in US history yet so many Jews despise him no matter what great things he does for us. They are both deaf and blind and pose a real danger to the rest of us, especially Israelis who want to live in peace. Bibi loves Trump’s out of the box idea and so do most Israelis. For those of us who live in the comfort of our homes in the West, we need to support our Jewish state! Not our egos.
BTW, I told that stupid Jewish man in the gym that I’ll be the first to buy a condo in the Maga Strip.
Sigh
You are right. There is no fool like an old fool.
Your JCC should have an IQ requirement.
It would be far easier to move Palestinians out of Gaza if there were substantially much less of them to move. They well merit a reduction of their numbers and would not be missed even by their co-religionists. This could be easily done and would have the added benefit of rendering the accusations of genocide somewhat truthful. The world would be better off with less of them as they contribute nothing to the betterment of humanity, obviously quite the opposite.
Netanyahu reiterated his vow to wipe out Hamas when he was in DC last week.
We are cautioned to “take Trump seriously, not literally”. I don’t think there is any chance of creating Mar-a-Gaza, period. But Trump is sending a clear message that there can be no “two-state solution”. That is permanently off the table.
With all due respect, to Daniel Greenfield, with whom I usually agree, I have to say that the use of the word “moral” is used mistakenly. Morality equals justice, or it should. How is it just to reward serial killers with a stay of execution and an all expense paid trip to another country where they will receive benefits and go on the dole again? They deserve death, not another lifetime of parasitic rage, preparing to kill again. All of them , you might ask? Yes, unless they convincingly surrender and repent. As to the “innocence” of the civilians, check out all the reports of civilians acting as Hamas murderers and torturers of hostages.
Wiping out those subhumans as the current day Amaleks that are would be great but it isn’t going to happen. Westerners don’t commit genocide…….but the Egyptians might. The Hussein in Jordan’s poppa took out thousands of Paleosimians when they acted up over there.
As usual, an insightful analysis. Coming from a STEM goyim family, we’ve been cheering Israel on since the Six Day War. We strongly oppose the faux “2-state ‘solution.” It’s a sick woke chimera. Having had studied Rome outside of the mandatory humanities in EU colleges have always known that ‘Palestinians’ are a Roman invention & a fake ethnicity. BTW, Roman patrician class had had villas on the gorgeous beaches of the Eastern Mediterranean including Gaza. So, Trump knows his history.
Prez Trump should make a deal w/ Putin & resettle the barbaric, sadistic & primitive Gazans/Hamas in the empty desert of southern Siberia. Good riddance!
For edification, Gaza was used by the the Palestinian Arabs to attack and terrorize Israel. In 2005, the territory was evacuated of Israelis in an effort for peace. It was a betrayal of Israel’s sincere intent. As a result, Israel is entitled by international law to occupy and annex Gaza. Other countries have done so for fewer provocations.
