What is it with Commies and New World Orders?

One week Biden is pitching a new world order and next week it’s Russia. Utopian political messianism is a hell of a drug. It also seems to make the users dumber.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov promoted a new “world order” with China on Wednesday ahead of his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

In a video posted to Twitter by the Russian Foreign Ministry and translated by Agence France-Presse (AFP), Lavrov can be heard saying “We, together with you, and with our sympathizers will move towards a multipolar, just, democratic world order.”

Because the one thing China loves is democratic just multipolar orders. That and running over people with tanks.

China wants the Century of China and a millennium if it can swing it. Russia and China had poor relations even when they were both Communist. And China has no intention of sharing the stage with anyone. It’ll exploit the advantages of the current crisis, but it has no interest in being tethered to a fading power.

Especially one that just took a beating. 

China is happy to weaken both Russia and the West, and exploit their weaknesses in turn.
