When Samantha Bee’s Full Frontal first aired, the ads declared, “Watch or You’re Sexist.” Like the show, that tagline turned out not to be a joke. 

Along with the various painfully unfunny lefty Daily Show retreads, the mess stuck around for seven seasons, but now that Peak TV is crashing, it’s gone.

The cable network has canceled the weekly late-night series after seven seasons.

It is the latest major cancellation at the Warner Bros. Discovery network following the merger.

It is a blow for diversity in the late-night space, Bee was the most high-profile female talk show host and her departure comes just days after Desus & Mero split and exited their Showtime late-night series. Bee was one of the few late-night talk show hosts that would dive deep into subjects such as abortion.

If there’s one thing that cable TV has a shortage of it’s discussions about abortion. 

Warner Bros’ went very hard into wokeness, but post Discovery and Peak TV’s collapse, a lot of woke dead weight is being shed. It’s not hard to see why Samantha Bee was shown the door. She was not only unfunny, but unwatchable. Literally.

A rating of 0.30 put Bee below just about everything. These are bad news that aren’t even worth comparing to FOX News. But they were below almost every news show except The Daily Show. And that says it all, doesn’t it.

The obnoxious snarky news trend is very dead. Jon Stewart is busy killing it on his Apple TV show after abandoning the style. Colbert was smart enough to get a late night gig. The winter of wokeness has come for the rest.
