If Trump wants to beat the hell out of Bernie Sanders’ cred on the “working class”, here’s a great place to start.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said during Friday night’s presidential debate in New Hampshire that the state’s two Democratic senators — Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen — were wrong to vote for President Trump’s new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico.
“Yes,” Sanders said when asked directly if Hassan and Shaheen were incorrect in voting for the deal. “I mean, it’s a disagreement.”
“There is not one word in that trade agreement that deals with climate change, and I don’t know how in 2020 you could do that,” Sanders said.
What the hell does USMCA have to do with climate? Rolling in climate into a trade deal is a scheme that benefits green bankers who push scams like carbon credits at the expense of American workers and jobs.
Demanding that trade deals address climate takes American jobs hostage to fund green bankers. Bernie claims to hate Wall Street, but here he is trying to take our economy hostage to push more money to Al Gore’s green partners.
