On this episode of Everything is Racist, Scary Spice visits Colorado and doesn’t see black people.
Spice Girl Mel B said she was left “shocked” after seeing that racism is “still there” when reflecting on her trip to the US.
The “Spice Up Your Life” hitmaker, dubbed Scary Spice, joined forces with British comedians Ruby Wax and Emily Atack to film a BBC documentary in the States.
But when making it to Colorado, Mel B said she was “shocked” at the lack of diversity in the state, admitting it changed her “outlook in a few ways.”
“So even though Colorado is massive, the whole world is massive, but when it actually comes down to it where people of color, whether it be mixed or brown or some kind of mix of ethnicity, they kind of have it even harder, people of color,” she told Metro.
The singer, who hails from northern England, said the experience “kind of changed my outlook.”
“Throughout the whole show, I was saying, ‘Is there anybody brown or mixed or black in this town? Is there anybody?’ I always find myself looking,” she added.
Colorado doesn’t have that many black people for reasons having nothing to do with race. If Scary Spice was going to small towns, and I presume there’d be little point in filming a documentary about exploration set in Denver, they’d have really few black people. But then again so would villages in the Cotswolds.
The state only has 5.8 million people to begin with. Subtract some of the major cities and it’s more like 4.8 million. Territorially, Colorado is bigger than Britain, but it’s got a small percentage of the population.
The obsession with diversity is unhelpful and in the case of a British celebrity coming to ignorantly spout accusations, it’s imperialism. And isn’t that what we already have Piers Morgan for?
California also had very few blacks until WW2, when a large number of blacks from the south were brought in to do war work in the shipyards, etc.
To our detriment, except for my girlfriend, of course.
My question to her is, so what? If she went to downtown Baltimore, would she be crying because she didn’t see enough whites?
Last time I visited family in CO, we went to the store and saw a number of black people, some customers and some were employees.
Perhaps, just perhaps, if she got out of her bubble and mixed with the locals, she would have seen the mix heritage of the people who live there.
What these mentally challenged people never except is that people live where their comfort zone and where their outdoor fun is . Personally knowing the area quite well her life would be in grave danger walking around alone, without guards, even in broad daylight.

I’m an avid skier and I think it is racist that I never see any Black Folks skiing. It must be a racist conspiracy. Maybe they are refused ski passed at the resorts because of thier race. Looking through all the ski apparel adds on line and in print now show Black Folks on just about every page and make up over 50% or more of the skiers shown. Go figure…..

8 Years ago while driving to Texas from Oregon, I got lost in Denver and noticed plenty of black people living in street camps with whites. These were fierce-looking scary people and I was just so grateful to have found my way out of that part of Denver. So she is full of it–perhaps she visited some nicer, safer neighborhoods which are always more heavily white. She is a scary, untalented, unintelligent bitch. If racist idiots like her had their way, all the formerly safe and white parts of the country (Idaho, Utah, New England) would be teeming with people of the earth pigment rainbow which is in the works. And these once safe bastions are now dealing with an increased crime rate. People of supposed color are not being prevented from moving into these white enclaves.
