The old joke about Communists was that anyone to the right of Stalin was a fascist. It’s one of those jokes with a lot of truth to it.
And in his interview, ousted Soros DA Chesa Boudin (a domestic terrorist spawn) forced out of office by two black women after voters tired of his position that criminals were the real victims and arresting them didn’t work, lives up to that joke.
Boudin complains that San Francisco made a “hard turn to the right” by electing “centrists” and prosecuting crime.
“San Francisco is not nearly as progressive as its reputation, and my recall was only one small piece of evidence in support of that claim. Look at the recall of the school board. Look at the fact that the city has never had a progressive mayor other than perhaps Art Agnos,” Boudin whines.
“Look at the fact that the city is home to more billionaires per capita than probably any other jurisdiction in the world. Look at the fact that the city’s made a hard turn to the right in the last couple of years. Look at the fact that the politicians that have come out of San Francisco on the national stage are anything but progressive: they’re mainstream centrist Democrats, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, etc.”
The idea that Kamala or Pelosi are “centrist” is really something.
But Boudin, like a lot of hard lefties, inhabits an imaginary alternate reality in which America is dominated by a heavily organized right whose only opponents are a handful of passionate leftist activists regularly sold out by the Democrat establishment.
In the usual socialist fashion, Boudin whines about billionaires despite the fact that he drew the support of a working-class guy named George Soros. Not to mention Chris Larsen of Ripple and other fine billionaires who are fans of crime in the streets. The entire pro-crime movement would not even exist without the backing of Soros and other major lefty billionaires and millionaires.
Let’s pause for a moment to consider the revealing worldview of the Left in which a “hard turn to the right” isn’t electing Republicans, it’s electing “centrists”.
Democrats are still trying to pretend that by surrendering to the far Left, they’re being moderates. But that’s not how the Left thinks.
In the worldview of the Left, Pelosi is a turn to the right. As is Mayor London Breed and DA Brooke Jenkins, who tick every lefty box except letting criminals take over the city, represent a “hard turn to the right”.
Imagine their vision for America.
It goes far beyond all the stuff we’ve seen and complain about. Think Lenin, Mao and Stalin. The Left is much further left than you think.

He’s in a perfect position now in an already corrupt institution, making it even worse:
As of June 2023, Boudin is serving as the founding executive director of the Criminal Law & Justice Center at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
That should alert potential law firms and agencies to avoid hiring candidates from UCB… in the same camp with Stanford, Harvard and other poison IVY League law schools.
Boudin still has his face on? Nobody’s punched it off yet? That ugly version of David Letterman looking mofo? Could the gap in his teeth be any wider?
He must be a recluse. I can’t imagine a dweeb like him going for a walk to buy a de-caff latte with a twist without taking a severe beating.
In the land of zombie drug-addled forests, sidewalk hypodermics, defecation, tent cities and mass store looting, ANY criminal prosecution would be labelled a “hard turn to the right”. As long as the remaining citizens of San Fransicko don’t care, neither do I. Their socialist Nirvana is well deserved.
The City by the Bay will either learn invaluable lessons or it will cease to exist. That’s their freedom of choice.
