The United Nations is currently made up of 193 member nations and two permanent non-member observer states: Vatican City and the “State of Palestine.” The Palestinians, however, are on their way to full member status. The Times of Israel reported Wednesday that “Palestinians took a seat among member states at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, a new right accorded to the Palestinian Authority’s delegation despite it not being a full member of the body.” This is how the UN responds to jihad terrorism: by rewarding those who engage in it.
The initiative to give the “State of Palestine” a seat in the General Assembly began six months after Palestinians murdered 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023. “In May,” the Times of Israel notes, “an overwhelming majority of the General Assembly asserted that Palestinians deserved full membership, a move that has been blocked by the United States, which along with Israel says recognition of Palestinian statehood must come through a peace agreement.” One of the conditions of Palestinian statehood has always been that the “State of Palestine” recognize Israel’s right to exist, and pledge to live in peace with it. That is something that Palestinian leaders have never been willing to do.
Nevertheless, the UN charged ahead with the plans to reward the Palestinians, apparently under the delusion that a Palestinian state will end all the strife. Thus, “starting with the 79th General Assembly session, which began Tuesday, the Palestinians can submit proposals and amendments, and sit among member states.” Riyad Mansour, the envoy of the “State of Palestine” to the UN, “took his place on Tuesday afternoon at a table marked “State of Palestine” between Sri Lanka and Sudan.”
Egyptian Ambassador Osama Mahmoud Abdelkhalek Mahmoud was thrilled, saying: “This is not merely a procedural matter. This is a historic moment for us.” Jonathan Miller, deputy Israel ambassador to the UN, was more realistic, observing that “any decision and or action that improves the status of the Palestinians, either in the UN General Assembly or bilaterally, is currently a reward… for terrorism in general and the Hamas terrorists in particular.”
Indeed. Any doubts about what kind of state the “State of Palestine” might be were removed in late July, when Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, declared:“Our religion is the religion of tolerance and the religion of human brotherhood. But we are also the people of Jihad and the people of force against those who deserve it from us and against those who want to harm our dignity, desecrate our holy sites, or deprive our rights…Palestine is giving its blood abundantly for your sake, nation of Islam.”
Then in early August, al-Habbash amplified his call for jihad against Israel: “Your best Jihad is Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic), and your best Ribat is Ashkelon. Where is Ashkelon? Ashkelon is a city in Palestine (sic., an Israeli coastal city), and the land of Palestine is a land of Ribat and Jihad until Judgement Day. His [Prophet Muhammad’s] dear followers came while carrying out Jihad for Allah to Palestine and Greater Syria, and they liberated it from the Byzantine occupation. Saladin liberated it from the Crusader occupation. And today it will be liberated [again], Allah willing. Palestine will return and be liberated, sooner or later.”
Does this sound as if al-Habbash and his comrades will be pacified with a “State of Palestine” and stop making war against Israel? No. Al-Habbash’s jihad will continue “until Judgment Day,” and he is by no means the only one. The Qur’an commands Muslims to “drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191), and even though it is a historical myth that the Israelis drove the Palestinian Arabs out of Israel, that is the guiding principle of the entire conflict. The Palestinian struggle (in Arabic, “jihad”) will continue until all of Israel is destroyed.
That holds true no matter what the United Nations does. No number of rewards for the Oct. 7 jihad massacre will blunt the force of the jihad against Israel; in fact, such rewards will only embolden the jihadis. When the “State of Palestine” took its seat in the UN General Assembly, the message to the “Palestinians” was clear: murder more Jews, and you’ll get even more of what you want. The “State of Palestine” is only a stepping-stone to the total eradication of Israel and a new genocide of the Jews.

That statement by Mahmoud Abbas and Mahmoud Al-Habbash is full of contradictions, full of evil from the past and the promise of more evil to come.
The promise of “force against those who deserve it”, and in this day we know who that refers to.
Considering the number of reprehensible “states” that belong to the UN why should anyone be surprised the non-state “state” of Palestine is sitting there.
When we finally stop pretending that the UN is an organization worthy of anyone’s respect then maybe we can start the exit process for those original charter members from the late 1940s. After all what is the UN now but a rogue collection of terror states that routinely condemn Israel and the US.
Time to defund the UN by leaving it. Time to tear down that monstrosity on the Hudson River. Time to end the canard that the UN and it’s phony sub-organizations promote peace.
Long past time to get the UN out of the US and move it to Brussels. Let the Euros deal with the scummy diplomats.

Why don’t we close the UN? My suspicion, because we have the whole building, all diplomats, BUGGED so we know what they are doing. Those GUESTS are the threat because at any time, any one of them could bring in a weapon of mass destruction in a coordinated attacked on many cities and we wouldn’t know who did it!
The Hadith discredits the Quran. It is written in ‘Repentance’ Volume 6, Book 61, Number 509 (Narrated by Zaid bin Thabit) that when it was realized that many of those who knew the Quran by heart were dying in battle, a fear arose that the Quran would as a complete work be lost. So the leaders at the time directed it be compiled before that could happen.
After searching for what could be found written on palm stalks, thin white stones and from the memories of men … it is recorded that one particular verse was found with “… Khuzaima Al-Ansari and I did not find it with anybody other than him.”

If one particular verse could be found ONLY with one guy and no one other than hm, then the Quran as a complete work had already disappeared from humanity. It ranges from absurd to ridiculous that the United Nations, in any way or form would recognize the man –made fiction of what is called “The State of Palestine” as something that is artificial as an actual “State.”
For never in history was even ever a “Palestinian State.” Such an entity never existed. In other words , it has no Historical foundation whatsoever. Likewise, it’s an outright lie that there are is such a things a “Palestinian people.” Those so called “Palestinians” are Arabs. Likewise, the “Palestine flag” is a bogus flag.
Furthermore, history reveals that the ancient Philistines recorded in the Bible and history reveals the people who came from the Greek Islands and some parts of the mainland Greece. They have no connection, at all, the to the Arab /Muslim of modern times who called themselves the “Palestinians.”
From those ancient people, the Philistines, the word “Palestine” .came into being.
There is no genuine ethic group or race who are the “Palestinians.”
Early in the last century a anyone living in that land, Arab or Jew, who lived in that land was called a ”Palestinian.”
Only after 1964 did the Arab/Muslims start to refer to themselves , exclusively , by the word “Palestinian.”
The reason for that is that they felt that by giving themselves that title they would appear to have some kind of valid claim on that land.
Indeed , there never was a “Palestinian state.”
The Philistines were removed by the Assyrians in 604 BCE and vanished from history. The Romans used the term Syria Palaestina to erase the Kingdom of Judea. The term Palestine was derived from the Greeks, who used it for the land because the Philistines came from the Greek world.
That’s like Count Dracula taking a seat on the Vatican council… after sundown of course!
Israel has already carried out an important humanitarian act by expediting Gaza ‘s receipt of polio vaccine (for which no other country has given Israel any credit). That needed to be done, because the specter of hundreds of thousands of children being crippled for life and needing unavailable iron lungs was horrific. But Israel should announce that unless the hostages are released within 7 days, all electricity, communications, and pumped water to Gaza will be shut off.
Aid to the enemy during war is absurd.
Since the October 7, 2023 military incursion into Israel by Hamas, a group of non-uniformed, state-backed soldiers who carry out attacks on civilian populations, i.e., a terrorist organization, I now hear non-stop, the words Palestine and Palestinians as though there is no such place as Israel and no such people as Israelis. The terrorists may have won without ever winning a single battle. Whenever these terrorist attacks occur, world leaders always clamor for a proportional response from Israel. How about a response that ends the threat of any future attacks?
It’s high time Americans take seriously the suggestion by the late Arizona senator John McCain: “The free nations must establish their own international organization separate from the UN.” If such a structure is created, countries on the cusp would be invited to join and make the decision.: “Which side are you on?”
America could hold its place as moral world leader.
How could this have happened? I know, just like all the other unbelievable events of history. Still, it defies belief.
The right thinking, free and democratic countries should get up and walk out and stay out and suspend their dues and any other monies until the non-country of terrorists is kicked out of the UN. The place doesn’t exist.
But, unfortunately too many of the countries I think should walk out support the terrorists over Israel, so I won’t be holding my breath.
What’s next? A UN seat for the District of Columbia?
When the UN was being formed my grandfather said that almost everybody he knew thought it would help maintain world peace. He was against it saying, “one day they’ll use it against the Jews.”
Israel should walk out of the United Nations.
