It seems to me that the Turks and Israelis are going to end up with most of Syria. The Druze, and possibly Christians will ally with Israel-maybe even some Alawites for protection. The Kurds could end up with a slice but will probably get screwed by all of the foreign powers involved as usual. Russia will retain their bases. The Zelenkyized jihadists will be used as proxies by Turkey to expand Turkish influence and power through terror much like Hezbollah did for Iran. Trump is right to steer clear.
