The ‘resistance’ to Trump has yet to form in any large capacity. And D.C., home of some of the most privileged and liberal government drones in the country would have to be where it forms.
For the moment though it’s an Airbnb resistance to anyone trying to get a place to stay in January.
When Donald Trump became president-elect yet again, D.C. resident Stacy Kane felt she needed to do something. She’d long bristled at his statements about women and immigrants, his policy priorities and his threats to overhaul her city.
So, as his Jan. 20 inauguration creeps closer, she decided to reach out to fellow Airbnb hosts with a request: Consider taking your rentals off the market that weekend, or increase your prices and donate the profits to liberal causes.
The goal, according to an email Kane and two friends are circulating among community groups and city council members, is “to show Trump supporters who are coming into the DMV that we do not welcome hate, misogyny, or intentions to take over DC.”
So far, Kane said, only four people have signed up, and only two provided their email addresses — though the organizers are hopeful more will join as time passes.
Two actual signatories. Impressive effort.
How can Stacy and her fellow Airbnb resistance members tell apart those people coming to be there to cheer on Trump from anti-Trump activists, reporters, and assorted people just taking in the scene?
Are they going to have a secret handshake or will it be as simple as ‘pronouns in bio’?

Kind of like Jessie Jackson and his Guns Out Jobs In aa few years ago and only Three showed up for his little meeting and Jackson wasn’t with them more of the Bang & Whimper Effect from grandstanding Liberals

Well, at this point I would not come within 500 miles of DC for the inauguration. I, along with your readers I’m sure, have been reading about the massive “violent” protests that are being planned by the radical leftist groups for Inauguration Day. And as far as AirBNB people go – F them in the neck.

So they are practicing capitalists that protest against the best capitalist POTUS this nation has ever had?
I agree, publish their addresses so we can know not to patronize them ever! Never again!
What looney tunes nonsense.

Trump should have a simple swearing-in ceremony with a few invited guests in DC, then hold the inaugural celebration and ball in Florida.

Air BNB are obviously on Trumps hit list, he still has some hotels. Skip sleeping in a strangers house that likely smells of multi cat piss and desperation.
Snowfrog says
Is the role of ARBNB to make a profit or to promote their ideology risking their profit? Where do these people get the nerve to push a losing ideology under the guise of running a business? This is about control and trying to get even with people that they disagree with, plain and simple. They obviously didn’t learn the bit about go woke, go broke. Most thinking customers will take their business elsewhere.
