Mind-boggling useful and instructive analysis and economic insights. I think I understood it while listening but I couldn’t repeat it. Humbling to encounter such a superior intellect 🙂
How one keeps up with all the Hollywood stuff I have no idea.
Maybe I could have when younger.
Young people are more likely to be distracted by the static. So sharpness in mental acuity is tempered by intemperance.and impetuousness

So it’s no wonder that Hollywood will never, ever make a decent adaptation. We can see what it is and has been making. A gentle garden for wolves and now their part done they wither.

Why was poor Mr. Greenfield forced to listen to his interlocuter’s inane blather and then subjected to a film of Ethel Merman singing? I have nothing against Ethel Merman or her singing, mind you, but a religious Jewish man is not permitted to listen to any woman other than a close relative singing, and Greenfield’s very uncomfortable expression said it all. This video showed a remarkable degree of cultural insensitivity, especially as it was made by a man who claims to be either a Jew or a supporter of Israel and who ought to know better.
