After a week of full-on screaming mania over Stephen Colbert’s unfunny MSNBC on CBS late night fest getting canceled, it turns out that the only thing smaller than Colbert’s audience is the turnout for a Save Colbert rally.
A Big Apple rally in support of on-his-way-out “Late Show” host Stephen Colbert drew fewer than two dozen people Sunday — with even the NYPD cops on scene quickly calling it a day since most of the demonstrators left after just a few minutes.
Big surprise.
If Colbert really had a sizable audience, CBS would not have canceled his show. And even the biggest Trump conspiracy theorists know it. The Daily Show shtick wore out its welcome in the second term of the Obama admin. By the time Biden came around, it was deader than his brain.
Colbert is a useful tool for Trump bashing, but the people complaining about Colbert being canceled didn’t watch his show and couldn’t be bothered to turn out for a rally in a city where a new coffee shop can count on two dozen people lining up on a Sunday morning.
It’s all about fake outrage and virtue signaling.

The show was losing money for years, and got cancelled the day the recisions passed. Makes me wonder.
Leftist newspapers have been in financial trouble for decades, and have been calling for public funding to stay afloat because they say they’re so important to ‘our democracy.’ Who knows where all that USAID money ended up, didn’t they track some of it to the NYSlimes? I doubt any was actually spent on LGBQT arts in muslim countries. It was much more useful finding its’ way back here to propagandize and organize against us. Maybe colbert will get a cushy advance from a French publisher.
CBS finally decided that it wasn’t worth a $40 million dollar loss annually to pay a hack ($20 million) for doing the same tired Trump smears night after night to a diminishing audience. They’d done their part to stop a Trump presidency and it didn’t work. Why keep throwing money down the Colbert drain.
Just like everything else in “woke” world, their outrage is fake. It’s not surprising that “wokesters” who didn’t tune in to Stephen Colbert’s low-ratings TV comedy show (“woke” jokes) are now protesting his firing as an occasion for anti-Trump hysterics. The same holds true of “woke” blacks boycotting the insufficiently “DEI” Target retail stores. The boycott is merely a litmus test of racial solidarity because the black instigators didn’t shop at Target to begin with. In “woke” world, it seems, human beings can live on the thin gruel of Democ-rat ideology, without watching late-night TV or shopping at Target.

Just a lot of big talk from some liberal pantywaists. If Colbert is as big of a deal as they claim, some hi-tech investors should be able to round up some cash and start a podcast. There’s big money to be had for the right person with a growing audience. Any takers?
Desperate times calls for desperate measures and the Hollyweirdos are desperate. Trump and the MAGA movement are living rent free inside their heads and they can’t evict them. Ouch!!
Perhaps we should all take up a collection and buy cases of Butt Hurt Balm and Diaper Rash Cream and send it to them to sooth their chafing and pain!!
