The good news, such as it is, is that the mask is off the ‘Palestinians’ and it’s also off their supporters. They’re feeling their strength and they’ve stopped pretending that they want anything other than the mass murder of Jews.
The pretense of a two-state solution and any kind of coexistence is done. They’ve openly embraced Hamas.
At least 800 pro-Palestinian protesters have descended on Union Square following a day-long rally that saw demonstrators climbing the Brooklyn Bridge, damaging cop cars, and blocking traffic.
Demonstrators chanted “free Palestine” as they mounted the iconic George Washington statue and plastered it with stickers that read “Zionists are terrorists.”
The marchers even erected a makeshift basketball hoop with the words “f–k Israel” scrawled on the backboard, haters of the Jewish state took turns shooting free throws.
A group of anti-Israel protesters on 13th street were heard chanting “long live Hamas.”
This is the same statue that their ilk desecrated with anti-American message right after 9/11.
Most of the media still refuses to parse what messages like “by any means” mean.
Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed Crown Heights to voice their desire for the elimination of the Jewish state.
Demonstrators carried banners proclaiming “honor the martyrs” and “by any means necessary.”
At least 7,000 pro-Palestinian protesters shut down the Brooklyn Bridge during a march through the borough Saturday, openly cheering Hamas terrorists’ barbaric attacks on Israel — and justifying the murders of innocent mothers and babies.
“Freedom by any means, land back by any means,” declared Dorian, a 24-year-old protester from Queens, during the three-mile Flood Brooklyn for Gaza march, which began at 3 p.m. in front of the Brooklyn Museum in Crown Heights, not far from the Hasidic Lubavitcher headquarters on Eastern Parkway, where a Sabbath festival was being held.
By any means is an obvious euphemism. ‘Honor the martyrs’ means support terrorists. But many of the pro-terrorist rallies are shedding the euphemisms. Chanting, “long live Hamas’ may be hard even for the media to unsee.
And the larger evolution here may be hard to reverse. The mask is off. There is no longer a pretense that this is about a peaceful solution.
The pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel movement has moved openly and directly to advocating for the destruction of Israel. Also this is the position adopted by the hard leftist flank of the Democrats. There will be a reckoning with that.

Good points Daniel, thanks!

Is there a Maharal of Prague Purim costume, complete with a block of clay?
How is this going to happen and by whom?
Jeff Bargholz says
Ask your mommy. If she can spit out that wad long enough to answer.
commonsense says
Jeff, Taylor’s reference is to the Jewish folk tale, The Golem, which is about a supernatural being created from clay, brought to life by Cabalists to save the Jews of Prague Frankly, I share his skepticism that the Hamas supporters will face any consequences.
Jeff Bargholz says
Maybe I misunderstood his comment.
I do know about the golem legends.

Any comment on Musk negotiating WITH Hamas to hook up communications that went off in Gaza so Israel could eliminate Hamas. He states his star link is for `humanitarian” (humanitarian is for Gaza people only. Theres never any consideration for Jews of course ). What a joke .
One Hamas (Palestinian-theres truly no difference) to another: “We need more rice here and Id like to tell you the location of the IDF and our terror squads and bombs but thats not specifically humanitarian, so as a rule abiding moral person, that is when I am not beheading Jewish babies, I won’t” .

I wrote a 3033 letter comment. FPM said it’s too long. Unfortunately, I can’t shorten it as requested. So I guess it won’t get printed. Well, at least I wrote out my thoughts….
Jeff Bargholz says
3033 words is quite long. Just saying.
Just do like Una Salus and cut your comments into multiple ones.
mj says
That’s letters, not words.
But thank you for the suggestion.
Jeff Bargholz says
Letters, right. I wasn’t paying close attention. 🙂

Many times I watch news reports where the commentator states: I have seen the pictures and video evidence of the horrid and inhuman things that were done to the Jewish families on Oct. 7 and thereafter, and you cannot un-see these horrid images. These acts are too graphic for us to show here.
Am I being too callous when I think that if these atrocities were shown, would many of those who cheer Hamas have more empathy for the Jewish victims and comprehend the true nature of what is happening in Israel and what Hamas has planned for them.
Jeff Bargholz says
No, you aren’t callous, you’re pragmatic.

Would it matter to most of these people?

The Jewish victims don’t matter to the Fakestinians – or any Muslims.
… But I do believe showing the truly horrific and graphic photos would help Israel fight Hamas and Jews fight anti-Semitism …
But they won’t do that because then we – who are not Jews –
… could point out that WE ARE NEXT …
And that would really upset the apple cart (not to mention over turning the tables of the money changers)
roberta says
Yeah, the ignorant need to see the images. It wont sink in if they dont.
They also need to understand some basics about Islam. Such as their prayers are scripted, so 5 times a day from the time they are children they pray for the death of all Jews and the destruction of the USA.
Without some better information, the masses will continue to believe that they are dealing with logical people. They will continue to believe that the good will they show the muslims will reciprocate.

“The three rules listed below are by no means exhaustive; they are merely the first leads to the understanding of a vast subject.
In any conflict between two men (or two groups) who hold the same basic principles, it is the more consistent one who wins.
In any collaboration between two men (or two groups) who hold different basic principles, it is the more evil or irrational one who wins.
When opposite basic principles are clearly and openly defined, it works to the advantage of the rational side; when they are not clearly defined, but are hidden or evaded, it works to the advantage of the irrational side.”

The mask is also off progressive ideology and a Democrat Party that champions open borders, “celebrate your differences” non-assimilation by millions of immigrants, legal and illegal, and the total accommodation of utterly absurd asylum claims by people from some of the worst nations on earth.
And none of them will be satisfied until “never again” is tossed on the ash heap of history.

The pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel movement was always anti-Jewish at its core, and leftist loves it that way.
Several years ago (when Donald Trump was running in the 2016 election) my mother was quite annoyed that I was no longer on the Democrat slave farm, and sure enough her true anti-Jewish core came out. We were discussing my DNA results, and it showed a .05 European-Jewish element. “That came from your father!’ was her expression. I thought then – maybe, but more likely it was her background. It was the low-percentage of it in relation to a long ago introduction to my family tree. I still don’t know where it came in, but there it is. Regardless, this anti-Jewish was always with her – and she made her connection to the Democratic Party an actual condition to distance herself from me, and to reject me for voting, not once but twice for Donald Trump. This choice made her quite clear in what she was (and is) – a Democrat.
The thing is – the Democrat has always needed some group to be put down. Today, it is clearly becoming the Jew under the label of being anti-Israel. These people can fool themselves all they want, but the real fuel of it is an anti-Jewish hatred. The Muslim and the leftist ‘activist’ will only lead them out to their ‘protest’ events, and turn them towards the hate of Jews. Those who stay for the hate will stay for the blame.
As for my mother – I have had no contract for now these three years, and I have no plans for any in the future. These types always have another hatreds needing their attention too. As for me, I know what Islam always is, and comes from it. Count me out.
Simply put – I stand with Israel. (And I still don’t know where the Jewish connection came in.)
People now in this country will end up having decided to stand right or side with this herd of screaming haters. I believe there will be no middle place.
TruthLaser says
0.05 percent is tiny compared with the Neanderthal percent in modern humans. It must take great bias to be ashamed of such a DNA test result and then to blame it on someone else.
David Mu says
Well, it wasn’t really a surprise that my mother had these thoughts. And it wasn’t a surprise that she felt free to say it. In her growing old age she was just letting out so much more what she actually thought about things. Few, if any of these thoughts, had an ounce of value. Actually, it’s likely these Jewish heritage came down from her to me, but I didn’t say this. Deep in her ancestry is quite a few things – from a more eastern Europe background. It’s that – here and there – marriages that sometimes happened with kings and nobles that form this background in that family tree. She thinks just the British and Germanic of her father and mother – I knew far more. And she – she is an idiot, like most racists are in these matters.
The amount of Neanderthal – well, she certainly would know nothing. But, that is an actually still being explored. It’s an area of research that I have not put any real time with it. Fifteen hundred years of a family tree does have a lot of ground for research. My mother is still believing she has American Indian blood. It’s a day dream of such people. I have almost completely worked out the lines back the first from the ‘old world’ to the ‘new world’. Not a chance of this myth true, But we did have a “Indian fighter’ in our Duvall ancestors.
The thing is – your correct; this is a belief of a real fool and room for becoming a real monster. Something like the ‘good German’ who knew to look the other way or a nice person who finds benefit in the suffering. I met one of those types, years ago, who was in German army intelligence from Hamburg – but, as she put it, ‘Wasn’t a party member’. Human nature is not naturally good.

The Fakestinians and their allies have no problem showing horrific images to smear the IDF without any context.
Some of these may be out of Gaza (and whose fault is that?), but some images appear to be from earthquakes …
The use of social media is as lopsided as ever. The Left has used this tactic on us since the internet began and we discovered it could be used to destroy their Big Lies.
As I’ve pointed out before – the Left supported Big Tech to control social media, but it was not having the desired effect – or not sufficiently …
… hence … Guu gle.
I know most folks won’t believe it … but the Post Office is more ‘free enterprise’ than Guu gle.
That’s one conspiracy theory that will become a ‘spoiler alert’ one day …

As I have repeated many times the loser of a fight/war usually has a great deal of trouble at the peace table. But the most trendy religion for the “new jew” is socialism. This requires a new allegiance for the new believer . Condemnation of old ideals is paramount for acceptance.
By bowing to DC and refusing to cut the money tree, thousands of jews have been killed unnecessarily. “and they created a desert and called it peace” is the only answer.

The mask may have slipped, but if the fix hasn’t, then electoral victory means it won’t matter. After all, if we have the DOJ, what are rubes going to do about it, come to Washington, DC to protest?
