One year has passed and if you have been in captivity for 365 days by Hamas, it has been the most horrendous year of your life. You don’t know if you’re going to live or die. You have no idea if you’ll ever be free again. You worry about your family and loved ones back home and how they are suffering. And that’s just for openers.
One Candidate Will Take Action
If you are the family of a hostage it has been the most trying, frustrating, fearful, and rage-filled years of your lives. Likewise, you don’t know if your loved one will ever return, whole or mutilated. You don’t know how they have been treated. You don’t know if your family will ever be reunited.
Perhaps you are praying that Donald Trump will be re-elected, as opposed to Kamala Harris of the Biden/Harris administration which is politically impotent in every way. You might dread the possibility that Harris and Walz could win, and hence, your loved one might never return.
As for the rest of us, who have followed this situation for a solid year, it is still hard to believe that such vigorous pro-Hamas factions exist in the U.S. It even is harder to fathom how warped their views happen to be.
One-Way Thinking
These supporters feign deep concern for Palestinian families split apart and all the hardships that have accrued during this trying time. Concurrently, they show no sympathy whatsoever for the remaining 101 hostages, babies among them, who’ve likely been terrorized for an entire year, with no idea if they’ll ever return home. By all measures these protesters exhibit selective outrage.
These Hamas supporters do not care one wit about the hostages who have been killed, let alone the 1191 people originally massacred. Many have cheered about the attack.
For a single moment, do they realize that if Israel’s enemies put down their arms there will be peace? If Israel, however, puts down its arms, the nation will soon no longer exist.
No Equivalency
There is no moral equivalency here; no balancing mechanism. Israel either remains vigilant or becomes vanquished by the surrounding hordes. As long as a Joe Biden type of leader is in office and feckless university presidents and administrators remain in place, Hamas supporters will gain confidence and boldness in their protests, as ingenuous as they are.
To emphasize: does anyone on the campus of Columbia University care about a even a single Palestinian family, anywhere? I mean truly care. Does any protester in any of the liberal California schools display anything more than their hatred of Jews and hatred of Israel in the long-term scheme of things?
Many simply enjoy the chance to parade around, gaining headlines, letting everyone know just how self-righteous they are, and that they are the friend of the little guy, as they have deemed the Palestinians to be.
Taking a Big Leap
In the broader sense, however, Israel is the little guy. Israel is the target of the U.N. Security Council. Israel alone is singled out as the aggressor, as the warlike nation, as an apartheid state, and as the persecutor of defenseless peoples. All the while, the U.N. issues free passes to nations whose human rights violations are legion: Russia, China, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, and Venezuela, as well as a host of Middle East nations.
So, now, beyond one year, let us never forget the gross injustice occurring, the suffering that Israel has endured, the ordeal that the hostages continue to face, the absolute nightmare for their families, and how, at this juncture, no reasonable resolution is in sight.
Let us recall the inaction and incompetence of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken, and all others in this administration.
All for Show
Let us consider that any other uprisings in the U.S. in support of the Hamas murderers is essentially for show, and that these protesters care little if anything about Palestinians. They simply want to flex their muscles, display their hatred for Jews, and support for those who would vanquish Jews.
Most of all, let’s remember the 101 people whose lives still hang in the balance, while politicians, pundits, and protesters dance about.
Allan Goldstein says
1) Put small armed squads dressed to blend in with these protesters.
2) Follow isolated protesters home; see where they are staying.
3) Barge in at a time for likely success, and kidnap one or two.
4) Use this method to collect scores of *disappeared; say nothing.
5) When equity is established with Hamas, THEN put out a communique: “maybe we have them maybe we don’t – we neither confirm nor deny – no red cross cannot visit them (if we have them) (wink wink) – the sick among them may or may not get their meds (if we do have them we neither confirm nor deny) — etc…
Intrepid says
How about you actually doing all of the stupid stuff you want us to do. Yeah, I thought not.

From the liver to the knee……make the terrorist not be able to pee.
allahu’s snackbar!!!
Allan Goldstein says
It takes time we have to build consensus, so that when the point of the spear acts there is a community to support it.
The forty years in the desert is based on the same principal: slavishness must bred out.

Intrepid,
These college students DO NOT THINK FOR THEMSELVES! They do not question, they do not research that which they “slavishly” support. It is a form of pathological comfort for them belonging to a group, irrespective of the harm being done.
In Allan’s example it seems to me he is using a real-life example of what kidnapping, violent treatment, hardship, disregard and ignorance can facilitate in order that they experience first hand what such malevolent disregard feels like when they are its victim. These young people no longer ask questions, do their own research or individually seek to obtain knowledge that is not proscribed by those they blindly follow. That the result of their willful ignorance is their horrific support of the malicious treatment of Jews kidnapped as a result of an illegal, armed incursion into a sovereign nation for which the planned desecration of these victims was both approved and em welcomed by those living in Gaza.
These are people who DO NOT know what true empathy is and are rapidly becoming like the ravenous dogs that Islam is encouraging.
It is harsh but what they are doing is condemning an entire people to death and if that isn’t evil, what is?
Allan Goldstein says
I indeed would hope they learn a lesson.
I also see value in grabbing human bargaining chips for the deadly games that the anti-Semites play with us.
Spurwing Plover says
All those who support those Violent Ham-A** should leave the Country and never return
Alix Brit says
I suspect most of the hostages are dead. Their lives mean nothing to Hamas or the followers in the USA. The followers in the USA carry on about “genocide” when the real genocide was committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023. I have not been the same since that awful day.
Cia says
Only about 50 hostages are believed to be still alive, while 50 have been murdered. Their families would like to get their bodies back to give them loving burial, but it’s the 50 still probably alive who are of primary importance, to be freed only by force of arms.

Leftoxenomorphs are orcs.
pisslims are orcs.
Of course they flock together.
Unrestricted warfare against both of them might save the day.
But I don’t think we will.
It might . . . . . . but we don’t have it in us.
The chance will not be there forever, though . . . . . .
