Police and agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have arrested an Arizona man for allegedly making expletive-laden death threats against President-elect Donald Trump and his family and attempting to illegally buy guns.
The suspect, Manuel Tamayo-Torres, also posted photos from a Trump rally in August in Glendale, according to court documents – a rally that took place less than six weeks after the first assassination attempt on Trump’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
He has a 2003 conviction of assault causing great bodily injury in California, for which he received a six-year prison sentence. Then in July 2023, his ex-wife obtained a restraining order against him in Arizona.

Once upon a time they would have locked up in an insane asylum anyone who said it’s not racist to hate all members of a particular race. I will say that I don’t remember this level of vitriol existing prior to the first Obama campaign. As contrarian as it sounds, I think he wanted to turn this nation against itself, and that continued under Biden. I am praying that things will change now.

Am sick and tired of this childish canard “white privilege”. America was built by whites so of course they built what they liked. That’s what every nation state does. Do not Arab states have “Arab” privilege? Do not African states have “black privilege”? Does China not have “Chinese privilege”?
The nerve of someone whose culture has made a mess of their home country coming to a better run country only to immediately start whining about “white privilege” should not be catered to by libby whites eager to don hair shirts of guilt. It is NORMAL for dominant cultures to arrange things that work well for them. What’s unusual is that whites have created a system that works for anyone of any race or sex willing to work hard and have been overly generous in sharing it.

Seeing as how I’m white, I have to agree with that. I admit I don’t like people hating me. I don’t care really but it puts my life in danger and I do care about that.
A now retired viewpoint-intolerant professor where I teach wanted attendance to be mandatory for faculty members at a session on white privilege to be conducted by Robin DiAngelo. His email indicated the sessions had to be made mandatory otherwise people like me–he used my name–would not attend. (Fortunately, the college never wasted a penny having DiAngelo spew her hate-inspiring nonsense.)
That professor was partially correct. I would never attend such a brainwashing session, even if it were made mandatory.
