In what some are calling a major setback for sexual assault survivors, the top lefty tour of 2018 and 2019 will feature appearances by former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton and her husband, an alleged rapist.
Live Nation has announced that ”An Evening with President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton” will be appearing in 13 cities, despite protests and outrage by victims of sexual assault.
Bill Clinton had been accused of raping Juanita Broaddrick. And a number of other women had come forward to allege sexual harassment and inappropriate conduct.
Despite that, Live Nation claims that the tour by an alleged rapist will feature “stories and inspiring anecdotes that shaped their historic careers in public service.” It is as of yet unclear whether these stories will include Hillary Clinton’s role in suppressing accusations by Bill’s victims, described as “bimbo eruptions”, or her time accusing a rape victim of being mentally ill.
It’s also unknown whether Bill Clinton will include any stories from his alleged sexual harassment of women.
The power couple may however choose to regale audiences with reminiscences of powerful #MeToo movement figures like Harvey Weinstein, Les Moonves and Jeffrey Epstein.
And if Bill Clinton goes into details about his time on the ‘Lolita Express’, ticket sales are bound to take off the way that the plane did.
