You know that’s how the media headlines would read if Harvey Weinstein had been a conservative donor. Party ID and political class comes first when reporting on GOP criminals, last when reporting on lefty offenders.

Just like Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein passed his usability date, albeit for different reasons, (the changing industry made him irrelevant), and was sacrificed based on what looks a lot like a Fusion GPS style informational campaign rather than “investigative journalism” by Ronan Farrow who is not a journalist, with no accountability for an industry that had supported and protected him.

And its media allies.

Ditto for Jeffrey Epstein where the reckoning is limited to the testimonies of outraged victims with no hard questions directed at the infrastructure that enabled his abuses.

And that’s how it’s meant to be.

Don’t look for the wizard behind the curtain. Watch as the spectacle shifts from Harvey Weinstein, the great champion of the arts and progressive donors, to Harvey the libidious monster, without asking who is directing the show.
