Very good that Trump likes David Horowitz. Coming from the same general area, I followed Horowitz in the SF Papers from the time when he was the only conservative in the Bay Area the papers published. Everything he wrote about that period (and since) is true to my experience.
Talking about ”victory ” in the 2024 Election is pure fantasy and wishful thinking as the DEMS have rigged the election process beyond repair . They exaggerated the danger of a Flu-like virus to bring in ”mail in voting” that in reality sending out a flood of ballots , then sending out a small army of COMMUNITY ORGANISERS to nefariously collect them by hook or crook

You are half right. Yes, we are about individual rights, but it is our Judeo-Christian culture which has produced those rights. Most of our founding was NOT based on enlightenment ideals, but on English common law and a Judeo-Christian cultural experience that goes back 3,000 years. Much of enlightenment thinking went from Rousseau, through Hegel, through Marx to Hitler, Stalin and Mao.
It’s an interesting paradox. Judeo-Christian culture has produced a certain amount of libertarianism or freedom for the individual by standing against the all-powerful state (which sees itself as “god”) by arguing that there is a real God above the state. G.K. Chesterton was right when he said in 1932 “Get rid of the God and the government becomes the God.”

It was just a coincidence that the Constitution of these united States of America was created right after the Enlightenment in that “3000 year” cultural lifespan.
It was a rejection of religion in the political sphere.
I was thinking about that quote (my favorite of hers) last night. When I first understood her work, I couldn’t figure out why everyone wasn’t squealing with delight at her discovery. I’ve been delighted ever since I discovered her.
Anyone that doesn’t think Americas values, ideals honor , sacrifice and belief in individual God given rights is not based on the nations Judeo Christian foundation is either ignorant of human history or biased toward their own jaundiced belief of mans own god complex. How do you reconcile the fundamental and crucial clash between Judaism and Christianity? Namely, the Divinity, Incarnation, and Resurrection of Yahweh in Jesus of Nazareth as Jesus the Christ? I don’t know, it’s up to Jews and Christians to decide how to reconcile that crucial conflict.
Objectivism doesn’t concern itself with that conflict, it concerns itself with how to achieve freedom, liberty, peace, prosperity, values, and happiness on earth.
