After the transgender movement threatened to cannibalize women’s sports, President Trump marked National Girls & Women in Sports Day by reclaiming it for women and girls once again.
The “No Men in Women’s Sports” Executive Order restores the original meaning of Title IX, protecting the rights of women and girls to have access to athletic activities, and reversing the Biden administration’s insistence that Title IX actually compelled colleges to displace women from teams to make way for men who falsely claim to be women.
The executive order states that it is “the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy.”
Colleges will now face Department of Education civil rights investigations to “affirmatively protect all-female athletic opportunities and all-female locker rooms and thereby provide the equal opportunity guaranteed by Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972,”
The executive order also throws its weight into the battle over leagues, associations and organizations trying to define what is a woman, convening members of some of these bodies, promoting single sex sports through the UN and using visas to bar ‘transgender’ men trying to compete against women in international competitions.
“The Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall review and adjust, as needed, policies permitting admission to the United States of males seeking to participate in women’s sports, and shall issue guidance with an objective of preventing such entry to the extent permitted by law.”
“The Secretary of State shall use all appropriate and available measures to see that the International Olympic Committee amends the standards governing Olympic sporting events to promote fairness, safety, and the best interests of female athletes by ensuring that eligibility for participation in women’s sporting events is determined according to sex and not gender identity or testosterone reduction.”
The Olympics is going to be held in Los Angeles in 2028? That’s the funniest part 🙂

I’m anything but a single issue voter (as I assume most folks here are) but this is a big one for me.
The bastardization of women sports by liberals & mentally ill men who couldn’t get into the top 50 by competing as a male decide to grow out their hair and apply some makeup to move into the winner’s circle? Hell no!
I was never more proud than when collegiate women’s volleyball teams forfeited games against San Jose State and their face-breaking fake woman giant to bring attention to this disparity.

I’m a little mystified that this even became an issue. For as long as I can remember there have been both men’s events and women’s events in the Olympics. It’s such a simple and basic distinction that doesn’t require debate or discussion. I think we can all move on and leave the anguished dramatics to the hysterical numskulls on the left.
The entire “trans” issue has an interesting history -major money behind it with media involved and the online targeting of children, Now, medical centers making money from it. I think Jamie Glazov did an interview that detailed this.
How it played into leftist goals is interesting- breaking down parental rights and family bonds. if you’ve ever run into one of these guys, also by turning our stomachs. I don’t know what this does for Islamic conquest -maybe just as a stomach tonic you pick Islam over “a boy named Sue.”
