Albert Einstein famously said that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. That’s what the Arab states and the Palestinian leadership have been doing for over seventy years.
Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who has pitched himself as the modernizer of a very backward country, has rejected President Trump’s radical new proposals to spring the Gazan trap by saying there must be a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital – or else.
This is tired old dogma, which has paralyzed the region and legitimized the attempted genocide of the Jewish people of Israel for the past seventy-eight years.
In the past, the Saudi “or else” meant an oil boycott of the United States, which they imposed after the 1973 war – when they quadrupled world oil prices, ostensibly to punish the United States and other world powers that had supported Israel.
Could the Saudis pull off such a stunt today? Sure, they could cut back production, which would temporarily raise world oil prices. But with the United States now energy independent, the pain would be felt mainly by Europe, China, and the developing world.
The pain would also be felt by the Saudi people, who have become accustomed to lavish handouts from their princely leaders. What would happen to the Saudi monarchy if it could no longer afford to buy off their people?
Maybe the “or else” means that Saudi Arabia will fund the Palestinian Authority, either alone or with its Arab allies. But do the Palestinians want to become vassals of the Gulf Arabs? I think not.
Maybe by “or else” MBS (as the Saudi crown prince likes to be called) is signaling his willingness to finance the reconstruction of Gaza and the re-establishment of the political mafias that have terrorized the Palestinian people – as well as much of the world – since 1974?
Trump has called out the emperor without clothes, and that is the myth that somehow the Palestinians are capable of self-governance, capable of living side-by-side in peace with Israel, capable of renouncing the Jew-hatred they have embedded in their society for generations by teaching it to children at home, in mosques, and in UN-funded schools.
“It’s been an unlucky place for a long time,” Trump said at his joint press conference in Washington last week with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
That was Trump being polite. He could have employed a term he used during his first term for failed states, and it would have been perfectly accurate in describing Gaza.
Gaza is a hell-hole of a “country,” and it is so because of the Palestinians who run the place with money they extort from around the world, including from the US taxpayer.
It will take time for Trump’s proposal to sink in with the Gulf Arabs, Egypt, and Jordan.
What about the Palestinians themselves? Trump made a similar offer during his first term, which he called the “deal of the century.” It would have brought more than $100 billion in US and international aid to reconstruct Gaza and the West Bank – if only the Palestinian leadership would make peace with Israel.
But for the Palestinian mafia, that was a bridge too far. It was then, and it remains so today.
I have been to Gaza many times and have devoted multiple chapters to the Palestinian tragedy in my latest book, The Iran House: Tales of Revolution, Persecution, War, and Intrigue.
The Palestinians are their own worst enemy. As I recount in one of those chapters, they cannot even conceive of cleaning up the beaches to promote tourism, because of “the occupation.”
Prime Minister Netanyahu said it well last week in Washington. He applauded Trump for his
willingness to puncture conventional thinking… to think outside the box with fresh ideas…. You cut to the chase. You see things others refuse to see. You say things others refuse to say. And then, after the jaws drop, people scratch their heads. And they say, you know, he’s right.
Can Trump transform Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East? Not while the old guard Palestinian mafia continues to terrorize the Palestinian people and the rest of the world.
I have long believed there can be no peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis until this old generation dies out – just as the old generation of Hebrews had to die out during the forty years of wandering in the desert, before their children could enter the promised land.
The pity is, for the Palestinians, that old generation is now just three years old. They have been weaned on the mother’s milk of Quranic Jew-hatred for generations. Until that poison is removed from their diet once and for all, mothers will continue to offer up their sons as “martyrs” so they can murder Jews as they did on October 7 and so many other times.
Did you ever wonder why no Arab state wants the Palestinians to migrate to their homeland? They saw what the Palestinians tried to do to King Hussein of Jordan in September 1970, when they launched a failed civil war, and in Lebanon in 1974, when they created a state within the state.
Given that track record, today’s Arab leaders don’t want to open their doors to the Palestinians. Who can blame them?
Gaza has become synonymous with hopelessness, death, and despair. President Trump, for the first time ever, is offering Palestinians a hopeful future.
Today’s Palestinian leaders have shown over and over that they prefer generations of insanity over a future of hope. As Trump says, such an unlucky place.

If humor were allowed for this serious subject, one could pray that Trump’s Gaza Vision doesn’t get naturally infected with Tunnel Vision.
“Can Trump transform Gaza into the Riviera of the Middle East?” Yes but only after the Paleosimian subhumans squatting there now are cleared out. Then, Trump could have Islamic countries and the EU develop it without spending a single American dollar.
“Not while the old guard Palestinian mafia continues to terrorize the Palestinian people……” Terrorize the Psuedostinian “people?” 80% of those subhumans voted for Hamas, which is the world’s worst jihadi terrorist groups, and still support them, while the other 20% voted for the Psudostinian Authority or Psuedostinian Islamic Jihad, both of which are also terrorist groups.
Out of several polls conducted, not a single Psuedostinian disapproved of the 10-7 Hamas terrorist atrocities.
The Psuedostinians aren’t terrorized by anybody. They ARE the terrorists. President Trump is right. Clean out the infestation of Gaza, then go to work in Judea and Samaria.
Only one problem with your idea. Having Islamic countries and the EU rebuild Gaza won’t work because those two entities hate Israel and Jews. They also support Hamas. The Pseudostinians will come flooding back into Gaza first chance they get. Only this time at our expense while we rebuild it.
Then we need to insure that those low-lifes don’t come back.
Dump the rancid scumbags in Egypt, Jordan, Syria, or the ocean; whatever it takes to keep ’em permanently out.
(If any are brought here, I here Martha’s Vineyard is nice. House them right next to Jug-eared Barry’s mansion.)
Gaza could be a good investment for private enterprise, if it can be developed into a tourist resort. It might not need any tax dollars from anyone – just a few people with a shrewd eye for a profit. There could be enough of a profit margin to be able to lease specific parcels of land from their Gazan owners, thus providing them with a financial start in their new land, and still make money out of the venture.
The Palestinians know that all they have to do is sit back and watch the Arab states rebuild Gaza with a little help from the “Jizya” (or so they will delude themselves) of the fearful Europeans, then they return to nurse their hatred and plots. Who knows, maybe even our enemies in Beijing may kick in to “help”.
Trump’s ideas for the region, whatever their final shape, will be too good and smart therefore never implemented. As an Israeli statesman once said, the Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
There will never be peace… never…
Oh here WILL be peace one day… when the Prince of Peace shows up to settle all things.
But by then it will be too late for these hate-filled vipers. I will be “off to the gulags with them, where the fire is never quenched.. The fire of their hatred will be turned upon themselves. And that fire will never be quenched. .
The DJT haters and naysayers are tone deaf and blind to any changes in Gaza. All they can see and hear is Trump speaking of enriching himself. Apparently, they’d rather hear the gunfire, watch missiles exploding, and people dying in Gaza. As usual, it’s all about Trump bad. Go figure.
The ONLY way there will be PEACE in Gaza is for there to be NO GAZA! There can never be PEACE as long as ONE gazan is living there. Sad, but true! Israel owns that land – they voluntarily GAVE it to the gazans in hopes of having PEACE. It didn’t work – take it back – clear it OUT – rebuild for the RIGHTFUL OWNERS!
But what to do with the gazans? Tough question! WHY does the WORLD have to suffer due to the sick ideology of those people? I think China is the answer! Invite China to the table – let China take all of them so they can show the WORLD how great China is and HOW China solves problems that the weak West cannot! There’s a lot of land in China and billions of people so what would be the impact of spreading out a measly 1.9 MILLION? CHINA is the ANSWER!
Muslim hatred of Jews began in the 7th century, when Islam was founded, and will not end as long as Islam exists. It does not matter whether a Muslim is secular or religious, his hatred is equally fierce. You can see this from the Muslim Brotherhood and Nasser in Egypt. The Palestinians do not change. They hate.
Did anyone really think bringing in a foreign people to a land already occupied for centuries by Palestinian/Arabs was going to work out? Let’s be real here. 99% of Jews are of European stock and took up a religion that started in the Middle East. Jews have been in Europe for thousands of years and are European per their ancestry.
The reason Jews fled Europe wasn’t some longing for their “homeland.” They fled to escape antisemitism, which is why the original Zionist plan was to move everyone to Guyana not modern day Israel. In additon, not all Jews fled to Israel. The majority fled to Brooklyn, NY and Argentina.
At Zionisms infancy the majority of Jews were against it. Including the Orthodox who called it sacrilegious and heretical with only the Devine leading Jews to Israel, not man. That sentiment changed after the Holocaust when Jews realized we better leave Europe or we will be wiped out unless they have a massive wave of converts.
I’m all for Trump trying something new. We had enough bloodshed.
Translation — “I hate Jews and Judaism”
On this issue I think Trump is entirely wrong. Gaza is a sh*thole created by Palestinians. Leave those people alone to suffer the consequences of their own actions.
If there are no consequences, then what ever is built there, in time they’ll just tear it up and turn it into a sh*thole all over again. In colloquial terms, that’s called pissing away money. If that’s what they want to do then I don’t have a problem with it as long as it’s not American tax payers money that’s being pissed away.
The bottom line: Why should America give a rat’s ass about Gaza? That’s their problem, not ours. America needs to stop acting like the world police and running around sticking out noses in places where it doesn’t belong. We have enough enemies as it is.
The UN/Globalists want it all for themselves no one else matters to the Useless Nations
They can have it all but they can’t have the countries that tell them to go f**k themselves and are willing to wage war on the UN/Globalists.
Insurmountable fact :The UN/Globalists only have power over countries that are afraid to stand up to them. Only weak nations are afraid of the UN/Globalists.
Why any nation is afraid of a cabal of pompous rich twits is beyond my ability to understand. II view it as discernible proof that as a species, to a greater or lesser degree we are governed (dominated) by the sum total of our fears. It’s what gives rise to war and tyranny and all the ills that have been visited upon humankind throughout history.
Remembering his “tremendous” success with North Korean Kim I suspect that it would be similar.
President Trump seems can’t comprehend that Arabs support “Palestinians” as a tool to eliminate the state of Israel. Their plan did not change since Israel proclaiming independence.
There is no Palestine, so there are no Palestinians. There was a Palestine, and the Palestinians were the Jews who lived there. Being “Palestinian” is not a race, ethnic, nor religious group, it is merely a geographic designation. The Jews of Palestine were the only people who regularly referred to themselves as Palestinians, and when people outside of Palestine referred to Palestinians they only meant the Jews/Hebrews. Those “Palestinians” changed the name of their bordered region to Israel in 1948, when they declared independence, so now they are Israelis.
The people who are now referred to as “Palestinians” may be arab; so fine, I agree they are arabs, If you want to call them something, call them NIMAs (non-Israeli muslim arabs). But they are not Palestinians.
All land west of the Jordan River belongs to Israel. The mosques on the Temple Mount should be removed. If the Saudis want, they should be allowed to collect the bits and reassemble them in their country. But there will be no BS “Palesinian” capital anywhere in Israel.
There will be no peace in the Middle East until the Prince of Peace returns, Jesus Messiah.

as long as islam exists anywhere their is going to be conflict . its a terrorist organisation not a religion . anyone who has read robert spencers work or briget gabriel knows . politicians dont read their work because they would have to admit that a 2 state is a fiction and that islam cant be placated . no amount of diplomacy and land giveaway will solve the issue . islam wants all the land and no jews in it . islam is irredeemable . any attempts to reform it will be met with violence . the west wont call it what it is because it would cause a world wide conflict that would pale all other wars in history . so placating is their only option while vilifying christianity , go figure . !
