Wrecking the immigration system has always depended on lies.
Lies like “one-time amnesty”, “thoroughly vetted refugees”, “address the root causes of migration” and, of course, “jobs Americans won’t do.”
Generations of Americans (not to mention Europeans) were assured that the invading hordes were just there to do the scut work, the jobs that the natives won’t do. Business groups treated us to a litany of complaints that their members just couldn’t find Americans to fill those jobs. And without an endless flood of migrants, the entire economy will collapse.
This was always a lie, but few companies demonstrated it as devastatingly as Tyson Foods just did.
Tyson this week said it would shutter its pork plant in Perry, Iowa, this summer, putting 1,276 people out of work in a town of just 8,000…
Last May, Tyson Foods closed two facilities in Virginia and Arkansas that employed more than 1,600 people. In April, it announced plans to cut 10 percent of corporate jobs and 15 percent of executives…
Plants in North Little Rock, Arkansas; Corydon, Indiana; and Dexter and Noel, Missouri are set to end operations in the first half of 2024, following a 0.8 percent slump in the company’s sales between 2022-2023.
Tyson meanwhile has moved to hire more of the asylum seekers who headed to New York and other cities after entering the US, seeking to fill undesirable jobs amid a low unemployment rate of 3.9 percent.
It’s not that Tyson can’t find employees who are citizens, it doesn’t want them and is firing them. This is what it wants.
“We would like to employ another 42,000 if we could find them,” said Garrett Dolan, who leads Tyson’s efforts to eliminate employment barriers such as immigration status or the need for childcare.
On a cold day last month, Tyson officials met with immigrants at Chobani’s offices in Manhattan and hired 17 asylum seekers from Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia for jobs at its plant in Humboldt, Tennessee. Last week, it hired 70 more.
“We’re recognizing there’s not a lot of people that are going to be working labor-manufacturing jobs that are American,” Dolan said. A large portion of new hires “are going to come from refugees and immigrants, so we’re now in the business of strategically thinking that through.”…
Tyson is also investing in retaining immigrant workers, having earmarked $1.5 million a year for legal aid services in 2023 and 2024 and providing paid time off for workers to attend court hearings.
“They’re very, very loyal,” Dolan said. “They’ve been uprooted and what they want is stability — what they want is a sense of belonging.”
Tyson is divesting from Americans and investing in invaders. And it’s far from alone.
Tent Partnership for Refugees founded by Chobani’s Hamdi Ulukaya, a Turkish Muslim yogurt magnate, has a list of partners that include Amazon, Starbucks, Unilever, Gap, Google, and Coca-Cola, among many others.

I don’t do the shopping, but Tyson products will never enter my house. No great effect on them but it helps me sleep better.

Meat processing companies in RIGHT TO WORK states are notorious for this. There was a beef processing company not far from me that closed it’s doors during the Trump administration when ICE raided and found all floor employees were illegals. The Tyson group could have easily clarified the statement by adding a smidgen of truth: “These are the jobs that Americans won’t do for the substandard wages we are willing to pay and illegals are willing to accept.”

That used to happen in the Stockyards in Omaha when I lived there twenty years ago. The companies were driving to the border and shipping wet backs to the city like sides of beef. They got caught over and over but never stopped because it was obviously profitable…….at the expense of Americans.
It’s been like that for decades. The only difference is now it’s out in the open, and the government is ok with it.
If they’re only here doing the jobs we don’t want to do, why then is it so difficult for me to find a dentist or doctor who is American born?
The Democrats started discriminating against Americans in medical school already during the 1970s.
They started discriminating against WHITE Americans in the ’70’s. I know more than a few people who were highly qualified for medical school but couldn’t get in. They either studied medicine overseas or gave up their dreams of becoming physicians. We have a lot of really overqualified veterinarians and podiatrists in this country, it seems.

I explained to her its a ploy to keep her wages low. That this is the reason she was let into the country, now she has to do her part and work for cheap. The company is never going to enforce the documents issue.

The thing is, the Progs took up a good position. If I keep eatin’ this stuff, I pay for my own demise. If, on the other hand, I cowboy up and chose freedom, Long American traditions die (Bud, Jack Daniels, Jimmy Dean, etc.) I’m damn near 65 and all these things were part of my whole life and others. Factories can be upgraded while production is run. A Fortune 50 company shifted its assembly line all around using Kaizen events.. They implemented 5S and, 6 Sigma and Class A.. Then they came up with their own system wh9ich borrowed form a many quality and productivity philosophies. This company always has some improvement program going company wide. Some time they results are less than stellar, but they keep trying.
Usually an industrial complex has a building with unused, obsolete lines. You tear those out and repurpose it. What i am saying is that some if may not many brown field sites have room to put in the latest and greatest production lines.
Citizens & Illegals:
I have worked at a slaughterhouse. What did I see? The people worked hard. To my knowledge there was one illegal on the line. Pretty good guy. Point is all the citizens there worked hard and they did do those jobs. Where you will see most of the illegals initially will be afterhours cleaning the line or the offices.. It will grow from there.
Inefficient?:
The plant they closed in Iowa did twice the amount of hogs than where I worked. Is it necessary to fire people, whole communities to boost profits and stock options from say 8% to 9% I do not think so.. These corporate boards and C-suite needs to be financially and legally h_rt.
If not b a boycott due to a virtual monopoly, then buy less and let them know. Do push polls to sound off 3 or 4 times a year to push stock prices down especially before December calculations of bonuses.

Was the slaughterhouse you worked at located in another country? Because the ones in the Stockyards of Omaha have been full on wet back for thirty or forty years, and Omaha is the American epicenter of abottoirs.

Yes, we’re all vulnerable to hepatitis, salmonella, E. coli and other hand borne diseases from dirty Biden wet backs who don’t wash their hands after they take shits. Especially if you eat at McDonald’s, Burger King or Jack in the Box, which employ hordes of them.
Best to stick to barbeque and chicken and biscuit joints. Even Asian food is cleaner than any handled by illegal invaders, many of whom are mobile disease vectors. Does anybody trust the hygiene standards in “countries” South of the border or even worse ones like Haiti, Somalia or a Near Eastern shithole? I don’t want to eat food prepared by guys who molest camels and goats, although most hawkenahs don’t have jobs so that’s to our advantage.
