Editorial note: On Thursday night, the David Horowitz Freedom Center put up posters all over the campus of UC Berkeley in conjunction with Milo Yiannopoulos’s “Free Speech Week.” The posters are part of the Freedom Center’s campaign to expose Students for Justice in Palestine as a Terrorist Front. The next morning, as soon as they were discovered, Berkeley’s new chancellor, Carol Christ, ordered her minions to tear down the posters, lest they be seen and read by Berkeley students. Chancellor Christ accompanied this assault on free speech with an announcement that her staff was investigating to see whether the posters constituted a “hate crime.”
The posters identify two Berkeley professors Hatem Bazian, a Hamas agent, and Judith Butler, along with several student activists as supporters of terrorists – specifically of the terrorist organization Hamas. This is a factual statement easily checked on the Internet at CanaryMission.org. In its official charter, Hamas calls for the destruction of the Jewish state and the extermination of the Jews. Professor Bazian is chairman of the board of a Hamas funding organization American Muslims for Palestine, that underwrites the boycott Israel (BDS) campaign and the Hamas propaganda activities of Students for Justice in Palestine. Professor Judith Butler, pictured in one of the posters, supports Hamas and the terrorist organization Hezbollah as progressive organizations: “Understanding Hamas, Hezbollah as social movements that are progressive, that are on the Left, that are part of a global Left, is extremely important.”
_Frontpage is publishing_ ten photos of the posters below to let our readers see how the University of California seeks to outlaw criticism of campus supporters of Islamic terrorists. For more info on the Freedom Center’s campaign, CLICK HERE.
