Students for Justice in Palestine, a campus terrorist organization that celebrated the Oct 7 attacks, had its chapter at UCLA assault and block Jewish students and community members. SJP did this with the active support of UCLA faculty, officials and the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors which paid for the legal fees of their thugs, not to mention the LA Times and the national media.
UCLA failed to take any meaningful action against the campus terror group. That just changed.
Now it might have been SJP along with other terrorist supporters showing up at the home of a UC regent to harass him, threaten his wife and vandalize his property.
Chancellor Frenk’s official statement of an ‘interim suspension’ for SJP mentions that particular incident.
On February 5, 2025, individuals affiliated with the student groups harassed Mr. Sures and members of his family outside his home.
Individuals surrounded the vehicle of a Sures family member and prevented that family member’s free movement.
Individuals pounded on drums, chanting and holding signs with threatening messages such as “Jonathan Sures you will pay, until you see your final day.”
Individuals vandalized the Sures home by applying red-colored handprints to the outer walls of the home and hung banners on the property’s hedges.
Frenk asserts that, “no one should ever fear for their safety. Without the basic feeling of safety, humans cannot learn, teach, work and live — much less thrive and flourish. This is true no matter what group you are a member of — or which identities you hold. There is no place for violence in our Bruin community.”
That’s a little late to the party after Jewish students and community members were violently assaulted on campus during the ‘encampment’ period. (Not to mention minor matters like vandalism.)
I’m sure he takes the harassment of a regent more seriously than a Jewish female student being knocked unconscious on campus during the encampment.
But the Trump admin’s new task force likely has something to do with it too.
The US Justice Department announced on Monday the launch of a task force to combat antisemitism in schools and college campuses.
Leo Terrell, Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, who is also set to lead the task force, noted, “Antisemitism in any environment is repugnant to this Nation’s ideals.”
He added, “The Department takes seriously our responsibility to eradicate this hatred wherever it is found. The Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism is the first step in giving life to President Trump’s renewed commitment to ending anti-Semitism in our schools.”
The move followed US President Donald Trump’s “Executive Order on Additional Measures to Combat Anti-Semitism,” according to the department.
Leo Terrell has been very blunt about UCLA’s malfeasance.
FOX NEWS HOST: Yeah, to your point, we all remember what we saw on college campuses across the country, from Columbia University to UCLA. I believe we have the video where Jewish students were literally barred from going to class by pro-Palestinian protesters, in some cases pro-Hamas protesters. There you go.
Look at that. No one seemed to be doing anything about it. And we heard very little from the last administration on why this was so wrong.
So how is this going to change now?
TERRELL: Well, you heard crickets from the last administration. And in those protests, I was embarrassed to see my law school, UCLA, allow this type of harassment going on. And Columbia University, how it’s going to stop is very simple.
We’re going to cut off their funding. We’re going to take criminal activity against those protesters. We’re going to alert these blue cities that allow this.
The message is getting out.
The interim suspension of SJP is mostly meaningless. A face-saving gesture for everyone involved and a feint to keep the task force away, But that shows UC is afraid. And that’s a good start.
“Leo Terrell, Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, who is also set to lead the task force…..”
The Assistant AG for Civil Rights, Kristin Clarke, answers to Nathan Hochman, who’s been LA DA since 12-3-2024. Few people seem to have noticed. He’s a former prosecutor who replaced that POS Gascon, who bent over backwards to aid and abet criminals of all stripes, particularly violent ones, and jihadi terrorists like Hamas at UCLA. He’s a law and order DA who just six days ago charged a violent pro illegal alien and anti ICE/DHS “protestor” with two serious felonies for throwing a heavy object onto the 101 freeway “with intent to cause great bodily harm” (and obviously death) and vandalism for spraying graffiti. Martin Richard Torres, who has a violent felony criminal record, faces seven years and four months in prison, where he belongs. His Spanish name is as much a tell as the Arabic names of so many Hamas rioters.
LA Mayor, Karen Ass, and her hand picked choice for Police Chief, Jerm McDonnell, are both far left careerist scumbags and slimy bureaucrats but as long as a criminal is arrested, DA Hochman can do whatever he wants with them. He doesn’t answer to either of those political criminals, and in Ass’s case, an utter retard, racist and fuzzy bumper.
Something tells me that the next time Hamas and its “woke” supporters riot under cover of a “protest,” the same type of cops who arrested Torres against LAPD policy will do the same thing to the Hamas homos and Hochman will hang ’em high.
That’s another reason for requiring bulletproof glass: hoods dropping heavy stuff from overpasses onto freeways.
There were a lot of drive-by shootings in the SF Bay Area when I lived there, but even just rocks being thrown up by the tires of other cars can shatter a windshield and cause serious medical problems or death.
Exactly, and those overpass criminals are deadly dangerous. When I was a kid there was some crazed Vietnam vet the media dubbed “the Freeway Phantom.” He used to throw heavy objects from concealment in tree groves and thickets at cars driving on the 91 Riverside. freeway. He was a slippery one and it took the cops a long time to catch him.
My brother and his twin brother buddies used to drink as much water as they could hold and then piss off of an overpass in Laguna Beach but they never tried to hurt anybody. They once nailed a couple all gussied up for some gala – in a convertible! Traffic was crawling so they really hosed that couple down. I laugh every time I think of it. My brother and his twin buddies were extremely good looking but their looks concealed the personalities of degenerates. Ronny and Lonny the twins. I liked those guys.
Yeah, that’s the kind of guys I went to elementary school with. They would stand over the train tunnels and relieve themselves when the trains came out of the tunnel. I never did but I’ve been wondering the last few days how growing up with that lot affected my attitudes towards ethics and morality 🙂
When good kids fall in with bad ones they often do bad things at the time but grow out of it. They also eventually part ways with the urchins. You didn’t even participate, so you don’t have to worry about your ethics and morality. My brother and I did a lot worse than whiz off bridges because of an older friend who was a bad influence but by the time we were in high school our juvenile delinquent activities were out of our systems..
I love this guy JB – He doesn’t hold back and his comments are so pithy – sometimes a puzzle to provoke, thought – and what’s wrong with that.
Here’s my offer – if we ever meet bro, I’m buying!
I’ll drink to that!
Harassing a UC Regent is liable to cross their red lines.
Kick them off Campus Kick them clean out of America put total end to SJP MY 100% and Sue the Pants off SJP
Several of President Trump’s new cabinet members have vowed to do just that.
Frenk is UCLA’s new Chancellor, the previous one that mishandled this whole thing retired (had nothing to do with this; he was planning to retire beforehand). Hope the new administration proves to be better for the Jewish community.
I retired from the LA County Sheriff’s in 2017 and moved into one of my rental homes in SE Arizona – I missed LA’s and California’s draconian shut downs, I missed the antifa, blm and these antisemitic riots and rioters – had I still been there I would have gone to the Fairfax District and start banging the heads of these antisemitic and anti-Israel demonic possessed ignorant worthless assholes – This is not rhetoric – this is PTSD that triggered me – I fumed here from afar and my reclining chair still has finger prints from me gripping it while watching the absurd lawless goings on and the law of Los Angeles PD and the LA City government refusing to stop it!
If people were surrounding my house, I would fire a warning shot then all bets are off!
I call on all my fellow Hebrews, don’t sit idle, don’t wait for the law to arrive and intervene. Antisemitism is insidious and pervasive. October 7, 2023 made antisemitism fashionable and in vogue.
Don’t wait for YHVH to intervene. Get trained and stay vigilant. Stop being so soft and intellectual. Stay ripped and trained and eat a training table Kosher diet.
Taking action is not luck. Within these parameters, YHVH will intervene as in the Old Testament days!
And Yeshua Messiah is Lord Jesus Christ and personally, keep your Judaism, include Christ in it.
I know this personally is what beefs me up and guides me in the most awesome ways.
Also, had I not left Commie California, I would not have been had the incredible investment opportunities in real estate I took advantage of and put me over a hurdle economically.
It seems to me that the UCLA Board of Trustee’s actions make them accessories to the crimes committed by the SJC. I think prosecution and prison time is in order. And if these leftists don’t get real punishment they will never have incentive to change their evil ways.
Let the deportations begin in earnest and with great fanfare!
