If there’s one profession where you don’t want the practitioners believing the toxic idea that all human lives matter… it’s medicine.
Meanwhile the cultural revolution purges continue.
The scenes where ethnic studies students drag faculty and teachers into the streets and beat them while chanting Maoist slogans should really ensure Biden’s victory in the fall.
University of Massachusetts-Lowell Dean of Nursing Leslie Neal-Boylan issued an email on June 2 to the Solomont School of Nursing in light of the recent anti-racism demonstrations across the country, sources told Campus Reform. In the message, Neal-Boylan told students that “everyone’s life matters.” Days later, Neal-Boylan was out of a job.
“Dear SSON Community,” the email provided to Campus Reform begins. “I am writing to express my concern and condemnation of the recent (and past) acts of violence against people of color. Recent events recall a tragic history of racism and bias that continue to thrive in this country. I despair for our future as a nation if we do not stand up against violence against anyone. BLACK LIVES MATTER, but also, EVERYONE’S LIFE MATTERS.”
“No one should have to live in fear that they will be targeted for how they look or what they believe,” the provided email continues.
The usual social media mob was ginned up and UM quickly folded.
This quickly caught the attention of the school, which replied from its official account thanking the student for “bringing this to our attention.’”
Sources familiar with the situation told Campus Reform that the dean’s employment had been terminated just days after her “everyone’s life matters” email.
Like many of those caught in the crossfire, Leslie Neal-Boylan appears to be a liberal who hadn’t caught up with the Newspeak. Her crime was sending out the usual boilerplate email without realizing that not only must you recite the Black Lives Matter catechism, but she condemned violence against everyone. Even though her condemnation was clearly referring to minorities, probably Muslims, “everyone’s life matters” sounded too similar to, “All Lives Matter”, which has become an official lefty hate crime punished by bans and firings.
The point of these exercises in adopting Newspeak, as in 1984, is to force people to pay close attention to the current dogma and parrot it exactly.
A failure to exactly follow the party line, as in the USSR, brings harsh punishment. And the party line keeps changing to test who is actually paying close attention.
Any personal initiative is brutally discouraged. The point here is to teach the cadre that they must pay close attention and not think for themselves.
Here’s another example of that.
