In this new video, Victor Davis Hanson speaks to host Dan Proft on American Greatness’ Counterculture podcast, arguing how it’s now necessary to “clean up and break up” rogue government agencies that “lie with impunity.”
“How do you stop the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the local prosecutors from doing what they’re doing?” Hanson asked Proft. “James Comey, Anthony Fauci, Robert Mueller, Andrew McCabe — that lie with impunity?”
“You’d have to go through and completely clean out and break up those agencies.”
In his interview with Proft, Hanson offers an analysis of the current U.S. political climate, focusing on the prosecutions of former president Trump, who faces four indictments and 91 felony charges as of the date of the interview.
Hanson also shares his views on what “counter-revolutionaries” must do to end the abuses of the Left.

The fastest way to decimate the Deep State is to immediately close every part of the permanent bureaucracy not within an enumerated power in the Constitution. Think about it. Most of what the central tyranny (no longer a federal government) does is power it has usurped. Next rein in the rest of the permanent bureaucracy by requiring regulations to be ratified by Congress before becoming law. The practice of letting executive branch bureaucracies make law violates the Constitution’s prohibition of Congress delegating legislative power. Finally, strip the bureaucracies of all judicial power—adjudicating cases before the bureaucracies’ own magistrates violates separation of power because law-making, enforcement, and judicial functions reside solely within each bureaucracy.

I always bristle when I come across people who compare the fall of the
Roman Empire to what’s currently happening to America. How historians
are bound to see similarity in causes of why they fell. I always say to myself
that the attempted toppling of America is deliberate and unnecessary. I’m
so glad to hear Mr. Hanson compare the U.S. in this video and say ‘The Left
is trying to destroy institutions (such as a secure border, the family, etc.) to
seize more power – and that is a choice they are making’. Again, deliberate
and unnecessary.
Dan Proft – with concurrence from Hanson – is 100% right about 1). The Left
is not really coming after Trump. They’re coming after anyone who opposes
them, especially the little guy and 2). The Left has been working for the last
hundred years toward their #1 goal of replacing God and the family with the
State. —————- What every free-thinking American knows – as did the
Founding Fathers before us – the “State” is merely a collection of human beings
with all their foibles who wish to be the big shots who rule over and even

Hanson’s explanation of where globalists get their massive wealth and power
was informative and chilling. Explains a lot about where they get the mega-
ability to try to bring down Trump in state after state – and what they could do
to us if we oppose them.

However, my allegiance to the federal government is CONTINGENT upon its branches, departments and agencies remaining within the strict constraints imposed upon them by the original, ratified Constitution and its lawful Amendments.
