The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) would not pay the money it owed to Lori Saroya unless she agreed to stop criticizing the organization.
She refused those conditions, and so CAIR sued her for defamation.
This is what happened when Lori Saroya answered CAIR with her own lawsuit.
