I have a close friend who is horrified by President Trump. We agreed to disagree and rarely, if ever, talk politics (other than local politics). Neither he nor I would have ever contemplated ending the friendship. Of course, he is 72 and I am 69. There is a decided lack of maturity in that 28 year old”s generation.

It is truly evil and despicable how the Left have totally destroyed this woman. She believes their lies, and as a result has decided to break off her friendship WITH HER BEST FRIEND. Because of the lies of the Left, she can’t even see any of the reasons that the other woman was her best friend FOR 14 YEARS.
To be honest, looking at her, I can’t see why the other person hung around for 14 years!
Back in 2016, my son saw a Facebook post in which I stated that I supported Trump. He asked me if I supported Trump, and I told him, “There’s no way I could support Hillary.” He responded by saying, “I’m not your son anymore”, and then proceeded to block me on Facebook. And when I would call or email him, he would never get back with me.
Years later we reconciled, and we are now the best of friends. But I have resolved never to talk politics whenever he is around, because I want to continue my friendship with him.
Truly the Democrats are the party of hate, because they have very successfully filled so many people’s hearts with hatred for Trump and for anyone who has any positive thoughts about Trump.
That’s incredibly sad.
I’m so relieved that my adult daughter and I are on the same page politically, as well as the other ways that matter.

It also found that 71% of Democrats would not go on a date with someone with opposing views, compared to 31% of Republicans. Further, 30% of Democrats and 7% of Republicans would not work for someone who voted differently from them.
President-elect Trump didn’t cause the collapse of your friendship. *You* did by being the “tolerant and inclusive” left-wing lunatic you are. What happened to personal responsibility in this country? That’s what made us the powerhouse superpower we were until Obama. If we made bad personal choices, we paid the consequences. Now even murderers, arsonists, burglars, assaulters and rioters, who admit guilt aren’t held to account, because “society or capitalism” drove them to it.
I’ve always been proud of my country regardless of whether I was proud of my government. Now I’m sometimes not even proud of my nation and her people. I’ll always be proud of where we came from and how we got here, but I’ll never accept people shouldn’t be held to account for their own poor life choices.
