Last week, Raymond Ibrahim, a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, spoke before the Christian Rights and Freedom Institute in Naples, Florida. His 45-minute speech, which can be viewed below, revolved around the topic of his forthcoming book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West, and how Americans have been fed a false history that makes the West’s current conflict with Islam incomprehensible, whereas knowledge of true, well-documented history—one that almost exclusively revolved around war—places current events in a much clearer context.
