Ron Kelmell says
Pressure against the Christian community always makes us stronger. It filters out the weak or shallow beliefs, often resulting in a clearer relationship to the Lord.
Kynarion Hellenis says
There is a very foolish and dangerous wish on the part of many American evangelicals to welcome open borders and persecution for precisely the reason you give. It chills me because many Christian communities have been totally wiped out and removed by persecution. Like Israel, we American Christians have been unfaithful and cannot but expect God’s chastisement.
Yes, God leaves a remnant, but that does not mean our community, or you and I as individuals or our families, will survive.
I would much prefer a nation that is self-consciously Christian and is governed as such. I miss when our rulers were a terror to bad conduct (Romans 13: 3-4) and protected our people.
Ron Kelmell says
The ‘reprobate mind’ of Romans 1:28 has saturated much of America’s cultural/ethical life.
Academician Emile Durkheim’s study in the early 20th Century relates that ‘mind’ and suicide.
John Glueck says
1984 was a reverberation of 68-79 when my generation came to a sense of maturity, leaving behind the sex, drugs and rock years, seeing the commie corruption of the war movement and returning to our Judeo-Christian heritage. We lost some of the character of the WW II era, our parents generation. Now our challenge is to leave behind a testimony of sacrificial love and truth, sharing the power of those who do not live for themselves, but for our God!
Carline says
Bless Ronald Reagan who revived Judea Christian values. A true American hero (and a zionist).
Our most beloved President.
We love Trump too.
