After a massive fire shut down a Los Angeles freeway recently, Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass refused to acknowledge the obvious: that the homeless encampment under that overpass very likely caused the blaze.

The Georgia DOT stored big rolls of fiber optic cable under an I-85 bridge. It is highly flammable so not really a good idea but would have been OK except they allowed the “homeless” to camp out and build fires next to those cables.
Homeless is in scare quotes to indicate it’s a misnomer. They are really mentally ill people who should be involuntarily committed to mental facilities.
The day after it happened, DOT’s all around the world started moving flammable stuff they were storing under bridges to safer locations. We saw the videos from everywhere.
I guess California didn’t.

Instead of legalizing more drugs, we should make it illegal to pocess any amount of any drug OR to be under influence.
You should see a documentary about formerly beautiful Portland OR on Newsmax. I goes into detail about the severe degradation of the standard of living after drugs were legalized along with tolerance of derelicts on the streets with their tents and shanties. Criminals, loonies, druggies and zombies all over the place. It’s an example of what’s happening across the country due to Dirtbagocrat policies.
At least they haven’t blamed the fire on “global warming” – yet.
They do exactly that in SF Bay Area. Climate change is responsible for fires, violent crime, and earthquake.
