Let’s call this what it is, a judicial coup. 

Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Kamala Harris, two of the Dem 2020 frontrunners, have called for the impeachment of Justice Kavanaugh based on an allegation dating back to his freshman year that has been denied by the woman in question.

1. We don’t impeach officials for what they did in college or high school. The Dems might really want to rethink this new standard of investigating student yearbooks of middle-aged officials. It won’t play well with Americans and it will backfire on them.

2. This allegation is even more worthless than the previous politically motivated hit pieces considering that the victim is denying it.

That hasn’t stopped Elizabeth Warren from tweeting, “Like the man who appointed him, Kavanaugh should be impeached.” Or Kamala Harris from tweeting, “Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice. He must be impeached.”

Harris’ idea of the process involves a media report, without any confirmation, and without even caring what the alleged victim says, and boom. 

There isn’t even a pretense here of caring about the truth or the facts of the allegation. It’s a desperate attempt at a judicial coup that is meant to create a lefty court while intimidating the remaining conservative justices. This is how they do things in Venezuela.

If the American Left insists on following in the footsteps of the Venezulean Left, America will look like Venezuela.
