Democracy really does die in darkness.

I’ll spare you the actual Washington Post article that is yet another radical editorial masquerading as a political feature and its attempt at constructing a bizarre alternate universe in which the Jan 6 commission is a non-controversial bipartisan effort and H.R.1’s election rigging is a vital bill, and the only thing standing in the way is Senator Manchin and other moderate Senate Dems who refuse to eliminate the filibuster. 

The only really meaningful takeaway from that article/editorial is the headline describing moderate Senate Democrats as the “enemy within”.

It’s far more revealing of the sheer level of radical derangement and political advocacy in the media than anything else.

Even as the article attempts to play at being reasonable, the headline reveals the sheer level of hateful crazy in the media Left. 

A decade ago the Washington Post was liberal, and leaning leftist, but generally professional and sane. It’s 2021 and it’s describing Senate Democrats who want to preserve some of the structure of checks and balances as “the enemy within”.
