In his latest short video, commentator Paul Joseph Watson turns his acerbic wit on the issue of narcissistic social media influencers recording themselves being complete jerks. The trend involves influencers intentionally disrupting the orderly, polite, restrained social fabric in Japan, all for social media attention. Pathetic – and annoying.

I’ve always wanted to visit Japan and South Korea, but having seen the way Americans have been behaving there recently, I’m going to Scotland next year instead. I feel for Asian nations dealing with a-holes like Johnny Somali performing sexual acts on the South Korean statue honoring “comfort women and girls” in WW2. These people have suffered and acting like this will drive Asian countries to end or, at least, limit tourism from countries with citizens who desecrate the Asian norms and traditions held in high esteem there. I’ve never been so embarrassed by the people of my own country before. I wouldn’t blame them if they banned American tourism all together, although I feel that’s unlikely with the tourism dollars Americans drive into their economies. If they’re smart, they’ll seal their borders tightly again and allow citizens to marry overseas and bring spouses home instead of allowing mass immigration. Ask Texas, Florida or Ohio how mass immigration has worked out for them.

I spent a year in South Korea in the US military. Most of the soldiers were just 18-19 year old kids. Some acted very disrespectful especially when drinking towards the citizens. I had a KATUSA, English speaking Korean soldiers attached to US units, tell me he thought the Korean people had a superior society over America’sAnd that was in the late 80’s. I can’t imagine what it’d like today. I couldn’t argue that with him. Except he was seeing a poor representation via the “ugly Americans”. As for me I liked the South Koreans.
