The latest in a series of terrorist attacks took place in Israel, this one timed to coincide with Yom Ha’aztmaut, Israel Independence Day.
These attacks have a somewhat unusual pattern with firearms and multiple assailants hitting crowdedpublic places that more closely resemble ISIS and Al Qaeda attacks in Europe. Two of the attacks have been attributed to ISIS.
Security forces are searching for the attackers who killed three Israelis and injured at least four people, two critically, in the central Israeli city of Elad, not far from Petach Tikvah. The attack on Thursday night came as celebrations for Yom Ha’aztmaut, Israel Independence Day, were winding down.
“Unfortunately, three people who we performed CPR on have been pronounced dead,” said Moshe Sa’adon, a volunteer EMT with United Hatzalah and head of Elad Hatzalah, who was one of the first emergency-service personnel on the scene. “We also treated two people in serious condition, one person in moderate condition and a number of people lightly injured.”
One of the victims who was killed was reported as being a man in his 40s. A witness at the scene heard shouts of Allahu Akbar during the attack, according to Israeli media.
Meanwhile the Palestinian Authortity’s media, as Palestinian Media Watch’s Itamar Marcus reminds us, keeps calling for more death.
The father of 17-year-old Shukat Abed, who was recently killed while participating in violent riots in Kafr Dan north of Jenin, told official PA TV at his son’s funeral that his son had expressed his wish to become a “Martyr.” A few days before his death, Shukat Abed had argued that since he and his cousins were so many in number, “one of them needed to be a Martyr.” He had notified his mother that she should “wrap him in shrouds,” and when taking a selfie, he indicated that the family would use the photo when he would soon die as a Martyr:
Another teenager vowed to “fight until the last Palestinian child [in the village] dies!”
The only genocides involving the Arab Muslim occupants of Israel are those they want to inflict on the Jews and those they’re willing to inflict on themselves to get to the Jews.
