Carville Unhinged
Tuesday on CNN’s The Situation Room, prior to President Trump’s speech before Congress, Democrat strategist James Carville was asked how Democrats should be prepared to respond. Carville replied, “This man [Trump] is actively trying to destroy the United States, and I think we ought to treat this moment with real gravitas.”
He went on to claim ludicrously that the country “is in a grim position right now,: and the only conclusion he can draw is that “maybe Donald Trump hates the United States.”
He wondered,
You know, I don’t know, because you try to explain, why is he doing this? Why is he doing this to Zelensky? Why is he voting with North Korea and Russia and, God knows, Belarus and the United Nations? I just can’t get it out of my mind that I think this man is some possibility – We have to consider the possibility that our president hates our country. People say no, he’s just full of resentment or something and that that could be true, but that doesn’t explain why he’s going out of his way to hurt the country at every juncture that he can. I mean, to the point of siding with North Korea and Belarus.
Cadaverous crank Carville is a propagandist who has been wrong for the Democrats more often than right, but he’s not stupid. He knows Trump does not hate this country, but it’s important for him to feed the media narrative that Trump does. It is precisely because Trump clearly loves America and wants to make her great again that Democrats hate him so.
It is the Left that hates America as she currently exists. It is the Left that believes this country is bigoted and oppressive, and needs to be “fundamentally transformed” according to their utopian, social justice blueprint. It was the Left that hurt this country at every juncture in the previous administration, and it is the Left that is full of resentment, as Carville put it, over Trump’s historic political comeback and his popularity among the American people.
Trump is not “siding” with North Korea and Russia. He is trying to bring the war in Ukraine to an end through negotiation. The Trump-deranged Democrats would rather let Ukraine continue to be destroyed, and would rather the U.S. and Europe engage Russia in a world war than let Trump score a victory for peace.
Warner Unhinged
Carville wasn’t the only unhinged Democrat featured Tuesday on CNN’s The Situation Room. Far-Left Virginia Senator Mark Warner (check out his profile here at DiscoverTheNetworks.org, the Freedom Center’s encyclopedia of the Left) called it “disgusting” that President Trump is not standing with democracies like Ukraine.
Asked if the United States is “on team Russia now” after President Trump and VP Vance put Ukrainian President Zelensky in his place this week, Warner complained that they “cut the knees out from under Zelensky, pulling his aid.” He added,
It sure as heck appears that Putin and Xi and authoritarian regimes around the world are seeing the, at least the American administration, side with them more and more often. We’ve always stood with democracies. I think this is a sad day for democracies around the world.
Blah blah democracy blah democracy blah blah blah democracy… The totalitarian Left loves to crow about itself as the champions of democracy around the world (except at home). They love to virtue-signal by waving Ukrainian flags on the floor of Congress or by posting a Ukrainian flag emoji on social media, and to smear anyone who doesn’t as a Putin supporter. Not one of them is willing to go to Ukraine and put their own lives on the line to “stand up against authoritarian regimes,” but they’re perfectly happy to send tens or hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian, European, and American soldiers to die in a losing cause in order to make themselves feel virtuous and brave – and to keep the lucrative war machine running.
Warner went on to say that cutting aid to Ukraine “basically puts them in league with the Russian brutal invasion of Ukraine. I think it is disgusting. I think it goes against 70 years of bipartisan consensus that we need to stand up against authoritarian regimes.”
Cutting off aid to Ukraine does not put the Trump administration “in league with the Russian brutal invasion.” Trump is the only politician with a plan to actually end the invasion by bringing Russia to the negotiation table. Zelensky and his fan girls on both sides of the political fence would prefer that we keep hurtling toward World War III.
Warner concluded that this is “a bad day for democracies around the world,” but in fact, the Trump administration is the only political entity with a realistic plan to save them.
Olbermann Unhinged (What Else is New?)
One can’t type the word “unhinged” without being reminded of former ESPN host, political performance artist, and “Worst Person in the World” Keith Olbermann (check out his Discover the Networks profile here). And sure enough, he happens to be in the news today for demanding that his former employer fire WWE analyst Pat McAfee for calling Canada a “terrible country.”
McAfee was in Toronto last weekend for WWE’s Elimination Chamber event, at the beginning of which the Canadian crowd launched into booing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” He noted that “it’s gonna be a historic night for the WWE on the road to WrestleMania” – too bad that “it’s in the terrible country of Canada that booed our national anthem to start this entire thing!”
Naturally, Olbermann was not offended on behalf of America by having our national anthem booed, but instead defended the Canadian boors. He posted on social media platform X that ESPN should fire McAfee:
A lot of us tried to warn the new espn management that the day would come when this idiot would draw them into a permanent political controversy and they could either be subsumed by it, or fire him. That day is today. Fire him.
For Keith Olbermann, of all people, to call for the firing of an ESPN commentator for making a politically “controversial” comment is the height of Democrat projection and hypocrisy. If anything, Olbermann was one of the trailblazers of the politicization of sports in general and ESPN in particular.
McAfee, who will not be fired because no one including ESPN cares what Olbermann demands, responded during Monday’s episode of the Pat McAfee Show:
There’s been some things said to me by Canadians that I guess I respect because of the passion that you have for your country, which I hope you understand. I was showing the same for mine.
You booed my country. Now, I heard from a lot of Canadians. During the national anthem, obviously the Rogers Centre, overwhelming boo. I mean, very loud boo. The first reaction whenever the national anthem starts up there was for some of these Canadians just to start booing. My entire life, my first reaction when somebody boos the national anthem is, “F*ck you.”
That’s called “America First,” Keith. Get used to it.

Then President Trump handed his speech to the House Speaker and our VP and I recalled that disgusting demonic moment where Nutzi Nasty Nazzi PeeLousy ripped up President Trump 45’s State of the Union while she is busy insider trading and other treasonous acts to add to her multimillionaire coffers of quid=pro-quo.

No one would accuse Chief Justice Roberts and Associate Justice Barrett of being Democrats or crazy, but something major is wrong. These two need to categorically slap down mischievous lower court judgelings who impair the legal functioning of the Executive Branch, but they are anything but forthright. Whatever they can weasel out of, they will.
Oh IDK, if no one would accuse them of being deep state, left leaning, possibly not so honest and therefore much like a Democrat. OK, maybe they know what a woman is without a biologist. But they just won’t say so.
Carville once made an accurate observation about politicians: they are different from you and me. When they lose elections, they don’t think their positions (or beliefs, if they actually have any) are wrong; they think they need to change the way they communicate with voters, who clearly didn’t get the message. That is actually a valuable insight, apropos the present moment.
