Anyone who watches CAIR’s appearances on TV knows the feeling — alternating between laughter and rage — as stations and reporters disintegrate in the presence of CAIR. The pattern is always the same: the facts crumble, the accusations begin, and the script is rewritten on the spot.
But this isn’t just about CAIR anymore. It’s about how the media has been weaponized — how TV reporters now eagerly partner with CAIR to frame stories, crush reputations, and get people fired. They let CAIR dictate the narrative, except they’re using it to tear down public institutions.
It’s a pattern that’s been going on for years, and it’s getting worse. The public is paying the price.
On April 26, 2025, WJAX FOX30/CBS47 in Jacksonville, Florida ran two segments that could have been written at CAIR headquarters: “CAIR-FL Condemns ‘Religious Coercion’ After Muslim Firefighter Forced to Break Ramadan Fast” and “JFRD District Fire Chief Accused of Coercing Firefighter To Break Ramadan Fast.”
The names on the byline are Brianna Andrews and Yona Gavino, but the real editor could easily have been Omar Saleh of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)
Even the reporters accidentally told the truth — for a moment — when they said:
When your life is in the hands of your teammates, there is bound to be a strong bond.
Exactly. That should have been the story: trust, discipline, unity — the lifeblood of any firehouse. But instead, the broadcast immediately pivoted to CAIR’s shopworn narrative of victimhood and “religious coercion.”
There is coercion here — but it’s coming from CAIR, not the fire chief. CAIR’s business model is simple: demand that American institutions bow to Islamic practices, and then scream “Islamophobia” when they refuse.
WJAX tried to cover its tracks by including a quote from Hafez Assali, Chairman of the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida:
I support the Chief for bringing the team together as a family… but at the same time, be open to other people’s religious values.
Translation: Saving lives is nice, but virtue-signaling comes first.
No. Being a firefighter isn’t about religious accommodations. It’s about rescuing people from burning buildings. It’s about being strong, sharp, and completely focused. If you can’t perform at full strength because of fasting or ritual obligations, you shouldn’t be there. Period.
No other religion gets this kind of indulgence. Christians don’t demand extra privileges during Lent. Jews don’t leave the firehouse early because of Passover.
But CAIR has trained the media to treat even the mildest expectations of professionalism as a hate crime when it comes to Islam.
Now they’re suggesting the fire chief’s termination for expecting what every firefighter must do: put the mission first.
This isn’t about “diversity” or “tolerance.”
It’s about power — the power to undermine the core values of American institutions in the name of religious privilege.
CAIR has launched 22 public attacks so far this year. That’s more than one attack per week. And each time, the media happily carries their water.
If Saturday Night Live still knew how to tell a joke, they’d be laughing at this: a firehouse filling with smoke while CAIR lawyers scold firefighters about diversity training.
The real scandal isn’t that a Muslim firefighter was asked to act like everyone else. The real scandal is that America’s media still runs interference for a group that openly uses them to bully and intimidate the public.
When firehouses are no longer allowed to prioritize saving lives over observing fasts, it’s not just the firehouse that’s burning.
It’s the country.
CAIR has been the fifth column in the U.S. for decades, enabled by the Democrats. Omar Saleh of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), has been one of the P.O.S. lawyers that does the CAIR lawfare.
CAIR needs to totally cut off their funding by 100% and their support as well
