In “The LAFD is Run by Three Lesbians Named ‘Kirsten’”, I chronicled some of the insane woke follies at the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The third Kirsten is Kristine Larson, whose organization ‘Equity on Fire’ complained endlessly about sexism and racism in the LAFD until the fire department’s leadership became all-lesbian Kirstens. And Kristine Larson was rewarded with the title of Equity Bureau Chief and a $399,000 salary.
Or six times what an actual firefighter makes.

“You want to see somebody that responds to your house, to your emergency… that looks like you,” Larson insists.
And then sneers, “Am I able to carry your husband out of a fire? He got himself in the wrong place.”
So many people responded to my article, post and tweets on the subject by arguing that the mission of the fire department should be to fight fires. But the mission of any organization overrun by wokes is to push identity politics. In Larson’s own words, we need firefighters who can’t physically do the job to ‘represent’ the underrepresented, and if they can’t do the job, that’s not their fault, but the fault of those who expected them to do their jobs. High on their own narcissism, they dismiss people who expect them to do their jobs.

That’s what a woke fire department, police department, military, any corporate workplace means.
Wokes won’t work. They expect to be admired for being themselves. Their sense of narcissistic entitlement is endless. As is their malice toward anyone who expects anything of them.

Remember Paradise. Remember Lahaina. Put the pieces of the puzzle together. It is all deliberate, intentional, purposeful, planned, strategized.
And let us not forget the leftist slogan “Burn it all down,” as well as “Build Back Better,” that is, after its all destroyed first. Do yourself a favor and do a [not Google] search for Smart L..A. ’28 or Los Angeles Smart City and inform yourself about what the future initiatives are that have been planned for that city. Some information on YouTube also. The same things are in the works for the prototype smart city of Phoenix as well as quite a number of other cities in the U. S. and also the whole world. The New World Order loves to see people suffer; collateral damage/lives mean nothing to them. These are methodical scorched earth tactics. Nevertheless, the real culprits will never be blamed or held accountable – kind of like when Nero blamed the Christians for the torching of Rome.

Not somebody who was hired, undertrained to lower standards and unable to do the job…because of their skin colour, gender, accent, who they have sex with or suffer from gender dysphoria.
I want firemen who know their job and can physically do it, not incompetent, short, or fat DEI hires. Especially not lesbians on a mission to destroy society.

My late father was a Volerteer Fireman for our small towns Fire Dept before there was any pagers they had aa special Telephone and when it was a Fire it would ring until answerd and our town had this Public Awareness a Public Siren a PA system

I hate to comment again about this vastly overpaid nitwit but is she saying white fire fighters should not go to fires or other emergencies in largely black areas because they “want to see somebody that responds to your house, to your emergency… that looks like you,”? If so, it’s a deal. Good luck with that.
Dems have always been so fixated on this “looks like you” thing. I don’t care if they look like a fat dumpy lesbian, if they’re good at their job. Looks shouldn’t even be a factor. But it’s THE factor for them, so disaster ensues.

When I first ran into this sort of bigotry 50 years ago: I could barely get anyone else to admit to seeing it.
But now we can watch it burn homes to the ground. Or as in East Palestine, we can see rotten infrastructure poison towns.
Millions have died in the interim. Not counting abortion either. And the damage to our intangible property – our history, trust, traditions, legal system, economy, prosperity, and (actual) progress – is incalculable.
We have no idea of the full extent of the damage done.
Maybe we should fix it before our civilization burns to the ground.

I knew pretty in shape 25 year olds, that trained for the Gwinnett and Cobb County firefighter physical tests, back in the late 80s and early 90s. They were all ex Fleet Navy, and already trained firefighters. Carrying an unconscious person or persons to safety was part of it. There was physical and mental competition to get on the force then, which hired once and sometimes twice a year. I’m a little scared to look up the requirements now.

Anyone who wants their Firefighter (or their Brain Surgeon, Flight Pilot, Air Traffic Controller, Lawyer, Police Responder) to be in their position because of “Lowering the Bar” for the sake of DEI Optics, deserve to die because of DEI incompetence in acts of saving them.
Actually I was gonna say that I don’t care if the FireFighter, police officer, heart surgeon, teacher or grocery clerk LOOKS LIKE ME, just as long as he can do the job I expect out of him.
