When Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez isn’t pushing antisemitic tropes or building her own brand, she’s loudly calling for police defunding.

New York City defunded the police under Mayor Bill de Blasio leading to a massive explosion of crime and violence. The dismantling of bail, the shutdown of core NYPD undercover units, and the jailbreaking of the prison system has filled the streets with gang violence.

The recent Times Square shooting rampage was a flashback to 70s New York City which is now back all the way.

And while Cortez was pushing police defunding, one police officer ran to save a 4-year-old girl who had been shot as a result of the so-called criminal justice reform and police defunding measures that turned New York City streets into a murderous war zone.

A New York police officer sprang into action when a shooting erupted in Times Square over the weekend, wounding two women and a 4-year-old girl.

NYPD Officer Alyssa Vogel — a new mother herself — was filmed bolting through the busy tourist thoroughfare on Saturday with the injured child in her arms. The girl had been shot in the leg, and Vogel was moving as fast as she could to get the child to an ambulance.

In a Monday appearance on CNN’s “New Day,” Vogel said she heard reports of shots fired on 45th Street and Broadway and found two of her colleagues treating two women who’d been shot. They told Vogel a “baby up the block” had been shot, too.Vogel told CNN’s Brianna Keilar that she and her partner took off running.

Another officer was attending to the girl when Vogel arrived, but he needed a tourniquet to stabilize her leg wound, she said. Vogel had one on her gun belt, so she tied and tightened it around the girl’s leg. After confirming the girl didn’t have any other gunshot wounds, Vogel rushed away with the girl in her arms.”I just picked her up and started running to the ambulance because I wanted to get her to the hospital as soon as possible,” Vogel said.

The family, incidentally, is Latino.

Proggies keep pretending that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is some sort of heroine for tweeting things all the time. This is what a heroine looks like. While AOC and her leftist allies are pushing the shutdown of the police, cops are out there heroically trying to save lives.

A society that values tweets over saving lives, that rewards leftist virtue signaling over actually helping people, is a sick society. 

99% of the time the media treats police officers as villains and Cortez and her allies as heroes. This is what heroism really is. It’s not talk. It’s actually putting yourself on the line to help people.

AOC and her allies have wrecked America. They’ve helped make cities into dangerous war zones. The real heroes are the ones saving lives in those war zones.
