While the media runs the George Floyd II play, truly horrifying stories like these will get a fraction of the attention and not even the tiniest fraction of the outrage even though, unlike the occasional act of police brutality, they are an ongoing crisis.
A man was killed and a two-year-old was shot in the face when gunshots rang out in Baltimore on Saturday, officials said.
A woman driving her car down the street at the time with two children, ages 6 and 2, was also struck and crashed into a pole. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
The two-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the face, Baltimore Councilman Eric Costello confirmed.
Over in D.C., things are also going well.
A 4-year-old girl walked into a Washington, DC, hospital with a gunshot wound Saturday, police say.
The girl was breathing and conscious at the time of her arrival at the medical facility, but police have not released any further updates on the child’s condition.
What these incidents testify to is the sheer horror of the crime wave unleashed by Democrats and those Republicans who supported the nightmarish evil that they euphemistically called, “criminal justice reform”.
Cities desperate to get the violence under control, yet unable to apply legislative fixes, send cops out to fight it. And with police fleeing major urban police forces, they turn to anyone who will serve. Especially if they’re members of minority groups. And that’s how you end up with Memphis. It’s also how you end up with 2-year-olds shot in the face and 4-year-olds walking into ERs with gunshot wounds.
The media doesn’t care. The Left doesn’t care. They unleashed these killing fields and they won’t stop until public safety is a distant memory. And nothing will change until people are at least as outraged about this daily toll as they are about whichever police brutality narrative the media has decided to hysterically push this week.
Please Daniel, in the month of January so far in the Democrat run city of Chicago 41 people have been killed, 158 wounded. Since 2013 till 2023 6,468 homicides, with 27,802 wounded, the majority Black. While from 2001 to 2021 in a war zone there were somewhere around 2,456 United States military deaths in the War in Afghanistan. 1,932 of these deaths were the result of hostile action. 20,752 American servicemembers were also wounded in action during the war. In addition, 18 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives also died in Afghanistan. So I really wish someone in the media would tell me which BLM.
Why doesn’t Critical Race Theory focus on Black on Black crime?????
Because that’s not sexy violence. Unless of course, it’s black police officers on black violence. Then Crump swoops in for the media spotlight, and blacks are once again convinced that Calypso Louie and Frank Marshall Davis are right: “the man” hates them.
One point that MSM never mentions is that Memphis is a Democrat city (Democrat mayor) as all the other troubled cities are.
I’ll be blunt. . This is what happen when black folks, as a preferred group, are officially allowed to be completely unaccountable for thier actions no matter what they do. This is going to end very badly. Dark days ahead……
It’s a kind of reverse colonialism. The British and others waged war and colonized Africa (but with a much smaller number of whites than blacks). Now there is a kind of backwash, blacks waging war in the homelands of white countries.
Children getting shot apparently is not as “sexy” a news story when you have another “George Floyd” narrative in the offing. Children are nothing more than a statistic to the media. What has become of this country and how much longer will the insanity last?
