I’ve never been on Team Musk. The new free Twitter is a hype machine that’s mostly smoke and mirrors. It favors certain famous users who talk about how free they feel while the rules haven’t actually changed for the vast majority.
And speaking of… I’ve now earned yet another badge of censored honor.
It’s not my first rodeo and I have not deleted this entirely accurate description of Islamic history.

I left Twitter years ago before Musk took over. It just became too much of a chore under Jack Dorsey, with seemingly one step forward and three steps back weekly. It was more difficult for me to leave than it should’ve been, but as a “nobody” I was proud of my nearly 60,000 followers that included celebrities like Eric Carmen of Raspberries fame and Fox News host Lou Dobbs along with Twitter personalities ‘Catturd’ (we routinely dm’d each other interesting articles) and several other recognizable podcasters in today’s market that weren’t so recognizable back then.
I spent a week saying goodbye and thanking followers for listening and making me realize I wasn’t alone in my views, then hit the button. After getting over the initial shock of it, I’d never felt so free.
I’ve since had several people ask me to come back, saying it’s a different place now under Musk but I, like you Daniel, never bought the hype. I think he’s a liberal with a conscience, and in the ultra-leftist world in which we find ourselves, that gives off the appearance of moderate conservatism. It’s not and he’s not, as is evidenced by your censorship.
I wish you luck with your account, but at the end of the day, Twitter will always be a battleground against truth because that’s what it was designed to be.

In the USA, we have a major task in secondary and university education to teach the young an accurate history of Islam. Indeed, there is a great deal of brutality. To this day, the division between true believers and infidels remains central. In Christianity, we believe that all persons are created in the image of God and we should invite all people to consider the claims of Christ. The almost universal support of Hamas across the Islamic world has revealed the core beliefs of Islam. Which Islamic leaders or imams have criticized the barbarism of October 7? Hardly any! Islam is a bankrupt religion.
