The media is throwing everything it has at Cindy Hyde-Smith, not because she did anything wrong, but because she’s a Republican and the media is an arm of the lefty flank of the Democrats.

And the media is rolling out the Ron DeSantis playbook against Hyde-Smith accusing her of racism for increasingly fake news reasons simply because, like Ron’s opponent, her opponent, Mike Espy, is black.

The transparently cynical strategy here is the epitome of fake news.

When a Republican runs against a black Democrat, the media throws out every fake racism accusation it can find. But black Republicans, like Mia Love, obviously don’t benefit from that treatment.

This isn’t just fake news. It’s another demonstration that the media is just the opposition research arm of the Left.
