One of the stranger things about the Mar-a-Lago raid was the discussion about whether the surveillance cameras should be on or off.
Eric Trump had previously said that the FBI asked them to turn off surveillance cameras during the raid. And that they refused and the cameras had caught agents entering restricted parts of the estate.
Jack Smith admitted in a recent filing that the cameras were turned off at “out of concern for agent safety” before they were then turned on again by the request of the Trump attorneys.
But what exactly was the nature of the threat to the agents from the cameras being on? Were the Feds worried about getting into a shootout with Trump security? Unlikely.
The only alternative is that they were afraid of being identified. But the names and identities of FBI personnel are not supposed to be a state secret.
So either the FBI was trying to keep the identities of its personnel taking part in the raid secret or it was trying to flout the terms of the search warrant.
Either one is police state behavior.
Well, given that the FBI has destroyed its credibility, why not conclude that they didn’t want a video record of them planting evidence or surveillance devices? Wouldn’t surprise me a bit at this point in our national life.
True Kasandra! Today’s FBI are a far cry from the Hollywood vintage movies made, years ago, about the world’s most respected and venerated law enforcement agency on the planet.
The Bureau never was close to the version that Hollywood created. A long record of errors in the labs, political extortion and blackmail, false swearing, and abuse of local police agencies started under Hoover and continues to this day. Anyone with a shred of decency who works there is either naive or willingly blind to the evil of the organization, and indifferent to its unconstitutional nature.

But after he happily signed every single massive Democrat Pork laden identity politics budget bill (despite promising to balance the budget) without a single veto… that isn’t how Republicans are going to save us.
The Mar-a-Lago raid was carried out as if President Trump were a third world warlord with scores of machine gun totting thugs ready to die for him instead of fellow Government Secret Service Presidential Bodyguards.

I always liked Professor Erwin Cory’s response when asked his views on politics, he said, that’s a two part question. First poly, which means many, a great number, a multitude, and the second part, tics which means blood suckers.
In John Paul Mac Isaac’s book about his involvement with Hunter Biden’s broken laptop, “American Injustice,” the description of his father’s encounter/interview with an FBI agent in Albuquerque is very disheartening, as is the description of the several hostile grilling sessions that K. T. McFarland had during the Mike Flynn debacle at the beginning of Trump’s time in office. She had to leave the country for a time.
The FBI got the go ahead to use lethal force during the raid from AG Garland beforehand.
And that means that the FBI thought Trump would be PRESENT during the raid.
Somebody in the Secret Service must have tipped off Trump in advance and then floated disinformation to the FBI.
The FBI headquarters in VA should be surrounded by a Ranger battalion with all the top agents being arrested at gunpoint.
Their computers and phones should be seized and examined by military investigators.

I believe there was a Secret Service agent collaborating with the FBI.
There was probably going to be a choreographed shoot-out between the SS agent and the FBI.
Trump was gonna get hit in the crossfire.
That would explain why the lead FBI agents were dressed in plain clothes.
That was gonna be the cover story.
But someone else in the SS tipped off Trump.
Someone loyal.
Last one trying the “FBI intended to murder Trump!” was claiming the FBI was going to do it by lacing Melania’s panties with poison.
You can know and agree that FBI leadership is corrupt and the STASI for the Democrat party without going full ridiculous and claiming they intended to murder Trump.

It is probably time all management level personnel in DoJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, State, and other law enforcement and intelligence agencies are fired and replace by people who will work to serve the country and not a political party.
It COULD BE that they wanted to AVOID EMBARRASSMENT! Imagine how tempting Melania’s THONGS would be and how EMBARRASSING it would be if there were VIDEOS of those agents – females too – fondling and SNIFFING her stuff!! OR, maybe they just thought they could have free range of the estate to PLANT EVIDENCE!
At this point the Judge should declare Smith to be UNCONSTITUTIONALLY persecuting PRESIDENT TRUMP and also the PREPONDERANCE of REVELATIONS by the PERSECUTORS that they TAMPERED with EVIDENCE and other illegalities! SOME of those actions SHOULD result in people facing charges themselves and for sure losing any Law License and Security Clearance!!

The Feebs turned off the cameras to prevent recording of their planting “evidence” during the “search.” How hard is that to figure out?

Saw a photo from a recent FIB raid. The agents carting off documents were attractive young women. Whatever happened to the square-jawed, steely-eyed Feds?
None of these agencies can be reformed-they must be scrapped totally with hundreds prosecuted and sent to prison for their crimes.
My last position in my 30 years in the infantry where I was dealing with some highly classified information once in a while, all of us were polygraphed regularly. About once a year – and whenever Higher Niner was suspecting there could be a leak.
I don’t see why those at the top of the FBI shouldn’t be similarly polygraphed, where they’re asked if they have leaked to the media, colluded with the executive or legislative branch, made a decision from bias and/or political purposes, etc.
Ah, but who would supervise the polygraphing?
Controlling what a camera shows is a strategic asset. During tonight’s Trump-Biden debate, the camera was taken off Biden during one of his freezes as if his time had elapsed. That seemed protective. At other times, Biden was on camera looking like Walter without Jeff Dunham’s voice.

Mar-a-Lago’s cameras do not lie, therefore they were turned off.
Nothing strange about it . . . “Plausible deniability”.
You have to ask yourself why, when every police and intelligence agency has been recording interviews since they could afford the equipment to do so and now most of them video them, the FBI doesn’t. They don’t even take verbatim hand written records of interviews, instead they write them up afterwards.
They don’t use bodycams, the way every other police force that can afford them does.
The obvious answer is because they operate on the principle of “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”.
The FBI don’t record their activities because they can then make up pretty much anything they want to when the go after their victims.
If what they were doing was legit, they’d want more documentation and footage, not less.
