Who’s up for Warren-Harris or Warren-Biden?

Warren has said she’d consider tapping Harris as a running mate. She also told the AP she would be “open” to asking former Vice President Joe Biden to reprise his old job.

I know it’s an old joke, but isn’t the whole point of a Veep somebody who can serve as a replacement for POTUS? 

But getting Dems to consider Kamala has been the latest 2020 test of political correctness. 

Joe Biden, whom Kamala tried to knock off, has said that he’d consider her.

“Of course I would,” Biden said. “Look, Sen. Harris has the capacity to be anything she wants to be. I mean it sincerely. I talked to her yesterday. She’s solid, she can be president someday herself, she can be vice president, she could go on to be a Supreme Court justice, she could be attorney general. I mean she has enormous capability.”

Any quid pro quo there?

But sure, Supreme Court Justice Kamala Harris. That’s some enormous capabilities.

And Buttigieg would consider her too.

“I think she deserves to be under anybody’s consideration. She’s a formidable leader,” Buttigieg told NBC News when asked whether he was considering Harris as a potential running mate.

 “I have enormous respect for Senator Harris,” he said. “I think that she brought a great deal to the race, and she’ll continue to bring a great deal and her leadership to the country. I don’t think it’s appropriate for me to name — it’s very premature before the Iowa caucus for me to name-check anybody for the future.” 

What did she bring to the race besides San Fran and Hollywood donors?

Biden has the least need for her. He proved that he has a stronger connection with black voters than she does. Buttigieg desperately needs a connection with black voters, but he would have to be pretty dumb to pick her. Not to mention, his lack of connection with black voters is likely to keep him away from the nomination. He could always do what Ted Cruz did and name a Veep now. A black woman. It might help him a little bit.

Very little.

And Warren, if there’s anything less appetizing than the socialist scold on the campaign trail, it’s the combination of Warren and Harris, the fake laughs, the artificial attempts to relate to human beings, would be the most grating ticket ever in human history.
