Edward-Isaac Dovere is the hack that certain Dem pols and their people go to for sympathetic coverage and puff pieces. So he was bound to do one on Elizabeth Warren. The Atlantic piece is a Edward-Isaac Dovere classic full of soft toned hushed empathy and talking points framed as analysis. And, as usual, the headline tells you exactly why this piece exists and which talking points it’s meant to seed.

Warren’s team doesn’t like the Clinton comparisons. They see any of that talk as reeking of sexism, people seeing one woman as the same as another woman because of their gender and aspirations

Warren and Clinton aren’t the same person, if only because Hillary leaks a degree of toxic resentment and bitterness that Warren couldn’t even begin to touch. But then again, Warren has probably no idea of what it’s like to be married to Bill Clinton.

But Warren and Clinton are both insincere lefty control freaks who started out as Republicans, had dirty careers as lawyers, got by on dubious connections, lie compulsively and are utterly unappealing to normal human beings.

So yes, she is Hillary 2.0. Might as well own it.
